If you want your life to have any meaning whatsoever, you better pray you contract some sort of malady.  Fortunately, chances are very high you will.  This will give you something to advocate for.  No, not the malady, silly.  The cure for the malady.  Of course you had zero interest in this particular disease when only several million other people had it that aren't you.  But awesomely, that is no longer the case.  Now that you have it, it is now priority number one.  We could mock you for this and we are but let's face it, there is a logic to this(the mockable action...and the mocking).  Not according to a logical definition of logic obviously, but there is no need to dwell on that.

Now that you are most likely dying(quicker than usual) there is finally something to live for.  I suppose you could call it all a wash and let nature take it's course.  In doing so though you must recognize that you  are wasting a huge opportunity to get other peoples hopes up.  Does hope actually grant immortality?  It seems that it probably does.  True, this may be an immortality that only bequeaths a couple extra years on top of  the common human lifespan and brings with it a monumentally reduced quality of life, along with a crushing financial burden, but doesn't that sound better than just carrying on as you are?
