Chapter 10: Introduced

As soon as it was Monday, Jisung knew that he will see Hyunjin. He was mentally preparing himself to not yell at Hyunjin or hit him for what he had done.

"Hyung, you okay? Relax! Just think that you will see Minho-hyung again today."

Felix didn't know Minho, but since a talk with him changed Jisung's mind, it must've meant that Jisung enjoyed his company.

Monday morning when four of them – Jisung, Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin, arrived to school, Felix immediately recognized the group of the other four handsome outcasts as they were entering the campus, immediately gathering attention from students.

"I can't do this, I'm not gonna talk to him again--"

"Hyung-!" Felix grabbed Jisung's wrist as he was about to leave.

"I can't even look at him, Felix!" "Just wait until lunch..." he quieted his tone.

His gaze fell to Minho who was aside from Hyunjin. Minho saw him too as the two exchanged eye contacts.  Jisung shyly waved to which Minho answered with a cute smile and a wave back. But they never approached the group that morning.

Hours of classes before lunch passed by unnoticed. Jisung, Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin were sitting at their usual table and were chatting, when the group of four boys approached their table. It could be none other than Bang Chan, Lee Minho, Seo Changbin, and Hwang Hyunjin.

"Hi!" the oldest greeted.

"Chanie-hyung!!" Felix exclaimed with a smile on his face as he stood up and hugged his friend.

The rest of the maknaes awkwardly waved at the vampires. Seungmin and Jeongin didn't know anyone from the older group. Well, they had seen Hyunjin, but didn't know how to act around him after witnessing Jisung in such an odd behavior to him.

Jisung on the other hand, turned his face back to the table and tried ignoring the group.

Felix greeted Hyunjin with a hug too and they all sat down.

"So, I think we should all introduce ourselves first, right? My name is Bang Chan." the Australian smiled.

"Hi, I'm Lee Minho." the cat-eyed vampire introduced himself.

"I'm Seo Changbin." the tough-looking, but a short guy said.

"As you all might've heard, I'm Hwang Hyunjin."

"I'm Yang Jeongin." the youngest waved with a smile.

"My name is Kim Seungmin." as the young boy introduced himself, his voice immediately caught Changbin's attention.

'His voice is nice...' he thought.

"You all know me, haha. I'm Bang Chan-hyung's friend Felix!" he smiled with his sunshine smile.

Everybody's eyes were now  focused on the last boy who didn't introduce himself yet.

"I'm Han Jisung." the boy finally looked up more confidently to face everyone.

It was a bit awkward since they didn't know what to talk about, but with the help of two aussies, the conversation was going well.

Seungmin, as the school journalist he is, received a notification from the news site. His laugh was turned into a serious frown, worrying the ones sitting at the table.

"Seungmin-hyung, is everything, okay?" the youngest asked.

"One more found." the older mumbled.

"One more? What found?" Changbin asked.

"One more person was found dead."

Everyone at the table knew what Seungmin meant.

The vampires obviously knew that it was a vampire bite, and they couldn't help but feel triggered by the word 'blood', especially when their humans are sitting right next to them; while the youngers all believed the news about the snake that kills.

"This is scary... and it was quite near us..." Jeongin thought out loud and Seungmin wrapped an arm around his dongsaeng.

"Hey, Jisung, can I talk to you?" Hyunjin, who was sitting between Jisung and Felix, whispered into the younger's ear.

Jisung looked at the taller and nodded, and the two left the table.

Tension filled the table since they all knew the hate Jisung felt towards Hyunjin.

"Listen, this will be hard, but I want to start it over from the start. I mean... us." Hyunjin said straightforward.

"I'm doing this for Felix. I won't forgive you for what you did to me, and are doing now to Felix. I agreed to this because he sees the good in you. I know you, Hwang, and I am not considering on accepting you into my life again. If you are the reason to make Felix happy, I'm not going to take it away from him. Whatever happens between you two will be his choice. I'll never trust you again, and I definitely don't trust Felix to you. It's his choice, same as it was mine 2 years ago." Jisung spat immediately pretty straightforward too.

"I bet your friends don't even know since looks like you've never told them about me."

"Jisung, it's not what you think-"

"Guess I wasn't that important to you as you were to me. I was just a tool for you, wasn't I?" the shorter laughed.

"It's not true-"

"I will be fine around you, but I will never be your friend, Hyunjin."
