The Hero In Me - Vigilante Deku

Chapter 21

Hey Everyone, I AM BACK WITH A UPDATE. It's been weeks and I want to give you all a special treat which is the exams. This chapter is focused on the Support exam and the next chapter will be Hitoshi's exam. 

There are a couple of things I want to discuss before this chapter. First up, I have read many stories of Vigilante Izuku and most of them have him stop being a vigilante in favor of being a hero once he gets into UA whether he is captured or otherwise, well I'm not heading that route. I have many plans for both Izuku and Hitoshi, and I have read stories where Izuku doesn't go to UA but unlike those authors, I can't make a story with him outside of UA so I'm thinking of just keeping him in the support course even after the sports fest. 

I have other plans but I won't spoil anymore than this, so if this story is heading a direction you didn't expect or don't like. Well, then you may leave, I have a reason for what I'm doing and if you don't like it anymore then you may leave. Anyway, I am back and I hope you enjoy it.

        Izuku split off from Hitoshi as he neared his exam hall and he followed Mei to the support course hall.

To say he was nervous was a lie and he would punch you in denial, Mei could tell he was nervous since he was sure she knew his tells but she didn't do anything which he was grateful for.

Izuku noticed the change in the hall as they neared their exam room, the walls were metal and probably insulated to keep explosions at bay and contained, these walls were going to be needed once Mei entered the school. Izuku wondered if she could accidentally blow up the schoolyard just by making an invention. Izuku didn't want to find out

They finally reached the hall and went inside.

The first part of the exam was a written one. While Izuku could send in his high school degree that he already got, he was sure the Principal knew he was applying and maybe he would change his course material.

The hall was not filled probably like the hero course exam but there were quite a few people here. Mei and Izuku were seated in different areas so they waved a quick goodbye and made their way to their seats.

There were a few minutes till the exam so Izuku got out his phone and texted Hitoshi, who was sending cat memes already. Izuku laughed quietly and started sending his memes, no one was sitting near him so he was fine and free from any weird looks.

The bell rung and Izuku sent a good luck text before putting his phone away, the overseer or the written exam come onto the stage and told them how the exam will go, both the written and the practical.

The written exam was going to be 3 hours long and then lunch. After lunch the practical where they would have 3 hours again to make the item on the blueprint they sent in, then there is the last part where you would show your support item off to judges.

Izuku understood, then they signaled the exam, and everyone got started.

The written exam was easy and he was among the first few to finish first, Mei finished in recorded time with Izuku right behind her. They were excused to the cafeteria and after almost 2 hours in the other examiners were shocked.

They exited the hall and as they walked they chatted about the exam, Mei complained about the history portion but Izuku was complaining they didn't have enough math problems for him to work on.

They both found the cafeteria and were welcome to an empty room, lunch was ready and so they ordered then sat at a table to talk about the next portion of the exam. Mei started to go over her work in her notebook and Izuku was looking through his phone trying to distract himself. He noticed others come in after a while and soon he was in a conversation with Mei.
