Markers
very dark markers
Marking our lives
Markers
marking our moments
in my heart
Markers
some marks
are permanent
which may be good
and may be bad
maybe even really sad
But when I'm with you
those marks are good
good to remember
When I was with you
When I missed you
all those marks
have been made
and in the future
later in the day
I will say
"Mark that down
deep in my heart."
