Ice

I was stupid

so stupid

I decided to walk

on the river

to walk on the ice

I never expected

anything to happen

Because I fell

through the ice

I remain here

Waiting

I close my eyes

Soon, I feel someone

but my eyes

don't open

but then

are forced open

and

I see you

as I slowly disappear

beneath the ice
