Why is her hair in a bob cut but also has a pony / plait?
Answer: In Martial arts, her fighting partner Kaysui (A chinese guy also mentioned in Chapter - Boy dreamer) hated how Scarlett won almost every contest and was better at him than fighting. So there was a lesson based on Sai's and how to fight with them, also nunchucks (The sai's were made from wood and metal, the blade was metal but it was quite blunt, but enough to pierce or stab someone) . Scarlett chose nunchucks while Kaysui chose a pair of Sai's. Kaysui started early or in other words 'Cheated' and pounced at Scarlett, accidently slicing a thick layer of hair on Scarlett's ponytail. Kaysui was suspended as the blade might have even hit Scarlett in the back of her neck. Not all of Scarlett's hair was cut, only a thick layer around her scalp. When the hair was cut it was really short, it was just below her ear lobes. A lot of underlayer hair remained and the plait-bob was her new style.

What is the Arcane from ECP#3?
Answer: The Arcane is a transformation after the firebird takes over a certain person (or alien) You can google the Arcane on google and find some pictures but I'll tell you what it is. The Arcane is a demon bird/eagle that grows with Scarlett. So every year she grows up, so does the Arcane. This power was also developed in Supergirl who will later on turn up in the book. The power of the Arcane will make a shocking change in the book, and in Scarlett's life. The Arcane traps the real person inside and lets the venomous side take over. This is like a lion in a cage. The beast inside erupts and everything is ruined.

Why doesn't Scarlett care about who is looking at her body?
Answer: Scarlett never cares, but she does care if someone she doesnt know looks, if you look back at the chapter where Damian and Jason were gawking at her torso, she doesnt mind since the boys were close to Dick. She doesn't mind Dick either, since you see people in bikinis on Beaches so what difference does it make? She also thinks women should be proud of their bodies and shouldn't be shy all the time. She also tries to minimize exposure but a little doesnt matter.

Why doesn't Scarlett cry?
Answer: She thinks tears should be saved for more meaningful times. Its like saving our money for someting thats worth it. She doesn't cry about her father and mother's death as they didn't mean much to her and she payed them with love, kindness and respect but all they gave to her in return was either Hate and feminist comments from her father or rants about being too tomboyish and simple from her mother. So she'd rather cry bucket loads at her uncle's funeral that seeing her mother's bloody and limp body.
