I was hanging with some of the new members, the Beetle, Beastboy, Wonder girl and Robin. They were pretty cool, being honest I thought they were brighter and lively, better than the current team members.
I seriously loved their company, they were positive talkers and didnt backchat. I was actually amused when I heard a loud slam up from the hangar.
I wonder where Dick was, he might have been recovering from how I dissed him back there... I should say sorry though, just in case.
"Guys, she's here!" KF hollered, zooming over to the hangar, leaving me and the newbies in a gush of his wind. (A/N: Not that kind omg)
I just stood there, trying to adjust into a position that could hide the I <3 Nightwing design on my chest, it earned 4 questions already, lets not make it more.
"Hey Rob, can you see the design from there?" I turned to him and had my arms crossed over it.
"Nope, theres only a little blue spike but its unnoticable" He nodded me off and turned back to the way of the Hangar.
I turned and saw something extremely innapropriate. An orange skinned girl with glowing green eyes, wearing that ridiculous suit.
I saw M'gann slapping her hand over Beastboy's eyes, getting a slight glare from the dissapointed orange skinned alien.
"I have arrived" She announced, I saw Nightwing running into the briefing room, probably fetching Batman.
"Uh, welcome to the team" I smiled, remembering to not judge a book by its cover... Or a hero by its suit... Uhh yeah, something like that.
"Thank you, human" She lightly nodded at me and turned around to Nightwing, stopping him in his tracks. But seriously, this Alien girl thinks she is higher than me or something, she's a princess of oranges and the queen of sluts, I'll say that. Her posture was all graceful and fancy, floating in the air like a delicate fairy, well this fairy loves cleavage.
K shut up now Scar
"Um, Kori! Hey, welcome to the team" He chuckled, breaking my thoughts up.
Did Dick know her?
"Greetings D-" She was cut off.
"Nightwing" Dick corrected her, earning a solid glare from Batman.
"It is an honour to be on a team with you again" She smiled at him, quirking her eyebrow. It irritated me, only slightly...
"Uhm, yeah" He gave her a awkward smile and shuffled over by my side, he gently leant on me and started to blabber.
"So um, Starfire we have a mission that requires your aid as Rennie needs to get some tests done"
"Right, You should get your tests completed now while everyone is here" She looked at me with hope for backup from anyone else on the team, but all that was audible after she spoke was silence
"Its a private test, Starfire" I muttered with an annoyed face.
"No fights or anything, Renegade go with Batman to the testing Unit while we all stay here" Wonder Woman said as she walked in.
"Renegade, follow" Batman lead the way.
"Okay, thanks Wonder" I nodded and walked after Batman, who had already vanished.
I left everyone behind me as I entered the cave, I felt like this tunnel was quite old and abandoned since there was hardly any old footprints or clean walls.
"Scarlett, I need you to go and sit down in the testing tube and grab the needle on the side, take some blood out of you and put it in the tray" He ushered me away and walked to the data console, while I was walking to the testing tube.
I did as he tools me to do, I grabbed the syringe and sucked some blood, putting it back into the observation tray, hope flooding in my eyes.
"Scanning..." He said.
I just stood there patiently, not wanting to sit down since it looked uncomfortable as hell.
"Seventy five percent and rising" He tapped away on the keyboard.
"Cool" I sighed, starting to play around with my dog tags impatiently.

"Done, and the results are loaded up" He printed out the results and brung the paper up to me, reading it as he walked.
"Teleportation, Shielding, Healing, telepathy, Molecular Kinesis, Teleki-"
"Jesus christ you are joking" I howled, snatching the paper from him and running around the tube in circles while he just walked out the tube, tapping away on his armpanel, like he knew I was going to take it.
I continued to burn each word into my mind, reading slowly.
"Telekinesis, Telepathy, Mind control"
Holy shit
"Molecular disintegration, Arcane"
I never knew I had all of this, Molecular disintegration is unbelievably cool... What's Arcane?
Sounds like a painted candy-cane or something. Sounds weird, I'll ask Batman.
"Uh, Batman, whats 'Arcane'?" I ask, walking out of the tube and over to him near the data console.
He stayed quiet and then turned to see Dick at the tunnel.
"Hey guys, I told Zee to show Starfire to her room to buy myself some time, anyeays, did you get the test done?" He finished talking.
"Nightwing, take Scarlett to the Hangar and help her improve some of her gagdets" Batman changed the topic and smoothly started typing away on his arm panel again.
Dick led me out the lab an once we reached the end of the tunnel, he started to talk again.
"So, why did he change the topic?" He asked, still walking.
"When I mention 'Arcane' he started ignoring it" I shook my head in confusion, trying to find a reason why he ignored me.
"Wanna research it in my room, with some 'Cookiesss'" He smirked, immediately I spun him around and we both headed to his room instead of the hangar.
This is going to be fun
