We hadn't had a case in a week and it was a quiet day at the office. We were all pretty bored, but I decided to work on the little bit of paperwork I did have.

"What?! No way. That's not possible," I hear Morgan shout, frustrated. I look over to see him and Reid next to a chess board and chuckle a little to myself knowing full well somebody just lost.

"You cheated!" Morgan exclaims and I hear Emily get up from her desk and watch her walk over to where Reid and Derek are sitting. "Aw, did brains outsmart brawn?" Emily smirks crossing her arms and looking down at them.

"The one time I agree to play with him and he cheats," Derek says and Emily gasps playfully and looks at Reid. "Wha- I did not cheat! You're just mad you didn't see it coming," Reid defends himself.

"Oh whatever. You can have your little game. Meet me at the gun range and I'll smoke your ass, kid," Morgan says standing up and switching chairs. "You a good shot, Clarke?" I hear Derek say and I look up smirking.

"Oh, you have no idea," I mumble smugly. "Oh really?" Morgan leans back in his chair, intrigued, and Emily and Reid direct their attention to me. "I was the best in my class at the academy," I say and he raises his eyebrows, slightly surprised.

"I don't believe it," Derek shakes his head. "Oh come on, you're just upset you aren't the best shot on the team anymore," Reid challenges. "Woah, woah, woah," Morgan holds his hand up defensively.

"Who says I'm not the best shot on the team anymore? No offense, Clarke, but I have a hard time believing you could beat me," Morgan says and I scoff. "Any chance you'd wanna put that statement to the test?" I dare him.

"Name a time and I'll meet you there," Morgan leans forward in his chair and Emily and Reid look back and forth between the both of us. "Fine, but if I win, you have to admit to the entire team that I'm a better agent than you," I say leaning forward in my chair, matching his body language.

"And if I win, you have to do my paperwork for the rest of the month," Morgan says. "Woah, hey! That's not fair. All she's asking you to do is admit you lost," Emily interrupts, but I hold up my hand stopping her.

"Deal," I say, shaking his hand. "Elizabeth!" Emily exclaims. I look at her smiling before saying, "What? I'm confident I'll win". Emily rolls her eyes at me and shakes her head, but I give her a look I know will make her melt and she sighs, sitting back down at her desk.

"My beautiful children, I come bearing gifts," Garcia shuffles into the bullpen from her office holding a small stack of invitations. "JJ! Get grandpa and grandma!" Morgan shouts to her office and Emily and I laugh.

JJ comes out of her office and grabs Hotch and Rossi from theirs. Once they are at the railing, Garcia continues. "Her Majesty invites you to the Christmas party of the decade, hosted by everyone's favorite Italian, tomorrow night," Garcia begins as she passes out our invitations.

Morgan and I give a few claps and a nod to Rossi. "I not only expect, but demand your attendance- I'm looking at you Mr. Stone Face," she points her finger at Hotch causing him to smirk.

"If you do not attend, I will shun you from my office of all things joyous and knowledgeable for the remainder of the year," Garcia finishes and we all chuckle.

"Well, I would hate to get on Garcia's bad side, so I'm in," I say and she gives me a hug. Everyone nods in agreement and before we realize it, it's the end of the day.

As I'm packing up my things, Emily sneaks up behind me and says softly so the others don't hear her, "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted company tonight?". I smirk and turn around to look at her. Her brown eyes are only inches from mine and I look down at her lips.
