My hands touch the rough ceramic cup
My fingers curling around the handle
My eyes savor the sweet dark sprinkles
Which lie on the white cloudy cream
A sweet, chocolatey smell enters my nose
And I feel the urge to gulp it down all at once.
But I hesitate, thinking yet again
What a luxury it is to sit here
And sip on delightful, creamy chocolate
The taste spreads on my tongue
As I take the vintage silver spoon into my hand
And slowly take the first portion of heaven
Straight to my mouth.
What a luxury and a blessing it is
To have chocolate.
