~~~~Mira~~~~
Time had passed since we came back from the Northern regions of Etheria, and things have slightly gone back to normal.
After seeing that dream while I was sick, I had never stopped thinking about it. I had always wanted my mothers back, and my dreams never lie. They always come true.
But what would it take to have that future? Who would we lose? Who would be hurt?
What would happen between now and the future I was shone?
And the sacrifice we would need.... I couldn't even imagine how that would affect all of us.
I hope that it wouldn't be too bad. But then again, our lives are not determined by our wishes.
That's what Papa said. And somehow, in the back of my mind, I knew that soon I would find out more about my father. Perhaps, I would know about my biological mother.
But whatever I would find, I would always have my mothers and family by my side.
The sun had set hours ago and in the night's vast sky, the three moons were perfectly aligned, giving off their enchanting light.
However, as the moons aligned, I felt something rush through me. Something I had never felt before. As if Etheria was at peace for a short moment, and I could feel that peace.
I stood on the ground next to Bow as he fiddled with his tracker pad, while Mama was on the roof of the Castle and Glimmer was standing by us with an annoyed expression.
"A little to the left." Bow said to Mama as she moved.
"This good?" Mama asked.
"Better. Okay, now, Glimmer, move yours more to the right."
Glimmer teleported to the roof, moving the small antenna more to the right before teleporting back to us.
"My right." Bow said, Glimmer groaning and teleporting again, coming back to us once she was done.
"Why are we.... up on the roof... in the middle of the night again?" Glimmer asked, yawning in between her teelportations.
"You know how I thought my Tracker Pad had broken back in Alwyn?" Bow asked, showing Glimmer his tracker pad, "Well, I've been studying it, and I realized the garbled static I keep getting on my screen isn't a bug. It's picking up some kind of transmission. With these three moons in alignment, all transmissions should be stronger. Adora, higher and more out-ish!"
Mama lifted the antenna higher and struggled to push it further out to get a better signal.
"Uh, oh. Guys!" Mama shouted, her balance being shifted and causing her to fall.
"Don't move! It's working!" Bow shouted as Glimmer teleported to catch my mom.
"We did it! Guys, you gotta see this."
Mama and Glimmer teleported back to the ground. Quickly, I ran to Mama and held her hand, happy to see her safe from the fall.
"Please tell me you got the message." Mama said annoyed.
"Some of it's degraded." Bow answered, "Mira, Adora, can you two read the rest?"
He brought the tracker pad to our level, making sure that I was able to see it, too. The words were strange, and I could make out a couple of them, but somehow I knew that these words, weren't just words.
"Serenia. Portal. Daia. Mara." Mama read off, "What's a Serenia?"
"I don't know. But if it has to do with Mara, it can't be good." Glimmer answered, "In any case, it's late. We should all get to bed." She grinned down at me.
