~~~~Adora~~~~
I fell down the cavern, yelling as I watched Catra disappear and most likely take Mira back with her.
Suddenly, Light Hope's face appeared in front of me, calling out my name. Then, Shadow Weaver.
I saw Bow, Glimmer, Mira and I. And Catra from just a couple minutes ago. I covered my face to not see the memories, and screamed when I had enough.
But then, I opened my eyes when I heard a familiar giggling.
I looked in front of me and saw Mira. My Mira. She was smiling happily, laughing so carefree.
"I'll always love you, Mama Adora." She said, then her pure happy expression transformed into Shadow Mira.
"Who are you to me?" She asked.
Just to hear those words spoken through Mira's voice, it brought me to tears. I didn't want to hear anymore and screamed at the top of my lungs to drown it all out.
But then, everything stopped. I opened my eyes again and gasped, seeing that I was standing up in a blue crystal room. I looked around, scared about what and where this place was in the temple, when I realized that it was all familiar.
My eyes widened a little, remembering the first time Mira and I touched the Sword of Protection. This was the place we first saw Light Hope.
"Hello, Adora," I heard a voice say behind me. I shrieked, turned around and saw Light Hope standing behind me.
"You've come at last."
I was so relieved to see her. Maybe now I could get answers.
"Light Hope, I can't believe I'm really seeing you." I said, "I mean, I've seen you.... In my brain, I think. But this is real!" I chuckled, "Is this real? Wait, am I dead? I fell... I'm sorry. I'm freaking out."
I cleared my throat, "I'm Adora." I introduced myself.
"Yes, I know." Light Hope replied, "I have been waiting for you and the child since both of you were infants, but I could not reach either of you. And I could not protect you from the Horde, nor stop the dark infection that has taken the child."
I looked down, feeling guilty of not being able to protect Mira either. She was way too young for any of this. I wish I did more.
Light Hope vanished and then reappeared behind me in a smaller form. I turned around to face her.
"I have watched you and the child grow up from afar."
I nervously rubbed my arm, "Wow, that's-- That's kind a creepy, honestly. Especially watching a little girl like Mira." I muttered the last part under my breath.
"Creepy? Yes. I have been called this before. I chose this form so as to nor alarm you. But if it does not suit you, I will choose another."
She disappeared again, then reappeared next to me, this time in the form of a young boy which chilled me to the bone as he smiled.
"Is this better?" She asked after I shrieked.
"Oh, no. That's, um-- That's actually way worse." I said. Light Hope turned back to normal to my relief.
"Forgive me. My human protocol is many years out of date. Allow me to select a new form that you will find appealing."
Slowly, her face began to morph and twist, her voice stretching with a horrifying pitch. I turned away.
