My body began to weaken as my life slowly slipped away from me.

I was dying.

Is this the way I die?

I started to hear their laughters in echoes.

Without finding out my purpose?

My vision became blurry.

Without even remembering my name?

Darkness was beginning to descend on me

"Women's whole existence is for our satisfaction and entertainment. Nothing more," Kodak uttered before joining his brothers in laughter.

Women's whole existence is for our satisfaction and entertainment.

His words echoed in my head.

Nothing more. . .

Something in me snapped!

A part of me that was dead before, the part which I had lost connection with, came alive!

A new form of energy surged in me and ran through my veins, flushing strength into my weak body. Within split seconds, my knees developed a mind of their own. They went up and buried each other into Kodak's face, so hard that I heard the sickening sound of bone breaking.

Just that this time, it wasn't sickening.

It was satisfying.

"Aaaaaaaah! My nose! She broke my damn nose!" Kodak yelled as he immediately dropped me and clutched his nose.

I hit the rough ground hard but didn't bother about the pain. I was more bothered with recovering. I slowly crawled away from him as I coughed violently and massaged my neck.

Yoran ran to his brother who was now rolling painfully on the ground while Tokeh stared in disbelief.

"Are you oka- Oh! Damn! Your nose is bleeding badly!" He exclaimed while examining his brother.

The crimson liquid had messed up his face, rolled down his chest and had started staining the floor as well.

"YOU!" Yoran yelled while pointing at me. By then, I had stopped coughing and was standing upright.

"I'll teach you to respect us!" He yelled and within seconds, he advanced towards me and had his fists out, aiming for my face.

For some split seconds, I froze. I stared with wide eyes, not knowing what to do. Fear gripped me as I watched his fist coming for me.

Suddenly, my left hand flew up and stopped the enemy hand mid air. Then I sent my left knee up so hard that it hit him between his legs.

His expression became very pained. His eyes went wild, his brows knitted together and rose at its highest peak. His veins bulged out as he trembled. He then clutched his groin and slowly went down to the floor, groaning and rolling in pain.

I tilted my head towards the people of Adrianne. Their cries, especially Kelarie's, had stopped. They were all staring in disbelief at what was taking place before them.

I turned my attention back to the Thellars and was met with a punch, hard in the face. The abruptness and pain of the punch made me loose my balance and fall to the floor.

I groaned in pain as I looked up at my attacker. It was Tokeh.

Stupid me! I should have known he was going to attack me too!

He stared down at me. His nose, flaring in anger as he breathed furiously, in and out. I could tell all he wanted to do was kill me, from the way he was glaring down at me.
