Y/n p.o.v (2 weeks later)
Rn I'm on a plane otw to nyc for an interview Matais is cuddled up next to me trying to rest he was scared but fell asleep eventually
The superstar lifestyle was fun and all but all this studio sessions and releasing and shows and interviews it was a lot
Megan and I have been cool we talked some more and she understood I wasn't ready to trust or forgive her
I'm flying back to Houston in 2 days because I have to be in LA next week and she's coming with me
We still have like 1 hour on the flight I just didn't want him waking up and crying
I relaxed into my seat and put in my air buds to enjoy the rest of the flight

"Come on buddy let's go" I lightly shook matais awake so we could exit off the plane but ofc he didn't want to so I had to pick him up
My manger had my bags already so I grabbed him and followed Mikey off the plane we security met us at the gate and walked with us through the paparazzi
The flashes were fucking annoying me but I just kept my head down while they were shouting
once we made it through everything and was in the main part of the building they left us or at least stayed away from afar
We made it through the building and got into the car matais was awake finally
"Hey buddy we're going to the hotel" he ignored the whole comment and looked around
He did his wake up stare "no plane ?" I shook my head
"Nope buddy were all done were in New York City now"
"ew ork ?" I shook my head at his mispronunciation of the city
"Nah buddy New York it's a city well a city inside a state with the same name it's complicated " he nodded his head and scooted over to the window to look at it
He stared out the different surroundings and the people moving around
I just realized he had never been out of Houston as far as I knew so seeing a bunch of new surroundings must have been crazy to him
My phone started ringing I pick up the phone and Megan's face showed on my screen
"Hey, what's up hot girl" she rolled her eyes at the nickname
"Nothing I was just making sure you made it" it looked like she had just finished showering
"Thanks but yea we made it we're almost at the hotel what are you doin"
"Nothing I just got out of the shower I'm bout to just chill with jayla"
We talked some more and then we pulled up to the hotel so I said goodbye and I hung up
My security grabbed my bags and I picked up matais we went upstairs and opened the door to the room
My manager briefed me on what the plan was for the next two days and told us to get ready
