If you're like me and have always wondered what it would be like if Jo and Laurie actually got engaged, then this story is for you.  I contemplated having the story begin at the proposal, but that scene is much too beautiful to tamper with.  The story will begin when Jo writes her letter to Laurie.

This story will be mainly based off of the 2019 screenplay, since I somehow found the script.  So imagine Timothee Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan.  I will also take some inspiration from the book.

I also want to note that even though this story is going in a different direction, I don't want to sacrifice the characters, and write them differently.
