It's hard to get up
in the morning
to brush your hair
and wash your face.
Why?
Cos the next thing
you gotta do is
put on presentable clothes
And makeup.
Why?
Because of someone
who constantly undermines you
by judging you?
Because of someone
whose opinion matters
more than your own?
Because of what someone will say
if they see your bare face?
Well, you look them
in the eye
And tell them that they
Can go and fuck themselves,
Can take their bullshit elsewhere,
Why?
Because you
have no more shits to give,
but that's so easy to say,
So easy to imagine,
So easy to think about.
Its isn't easy to say
what you want to
It isn't easy to
speak your feelings
And thoughts aloud
It's better to stay silent
That way it will remain
the way others want it to

Remaining silent and speaking out, both require a huge amount of bravery and guts. But I think remaining silent is the more difficult one of the two. The will it takes to keep your words, your retaliation, inside is unthinkable for me.
