Derek, Stiles, and I sat in the prisoner's van and, Braedon was driving, whereas Malia and Peter were in the other one, spending father-daughter quality time.

I was sitting in between Stiles and Derek, trying not to get too much attention from Liam, who sat across me. Our knees were touching but I ignored it, even though it sent a tingly sensation to my stomach.

"All good?" Derek asked as he put handcuffs with chains on Liam's hand.

"I brought something to help you," Derek told him and produced a token with a triskelion on it.

How will this help him, it's just a token...

"It's a very powerful supernatural talisman," he said, 

Okay...

I looked at Stiles and apparently, he was wondering the same thing.

"We use to teach Betas how to control themselves on a full moon," he said,

I think I got a gist of it, maybe he was fooling Liam...

Derek turned to look at us and that proved that he was, 

"Yes, Yes it is, super-powerful," I said,

"Yes, it's powerful. Very powerful," added Stiles,

Well, that did the trick and now Liam was fooled, and we all calmed down.

"You know, you could have gone with Malia and Peter..." Stiles began,

"Yeah, I know, but I thought, with Derek's loss of power and, you and Braedon being humans, no matter how professionally she can handle a gun, might need a little supernatural help." I reasoned,

"Well, I did not think of that but are you okay?" he asked, his voice was full of concern.

"Yeah, Stiles, I am okay," I said, even though he didn't look convinced, he didn't imply anything.

I turned my face back to my front and saw that Liam was looking at me, 

I suddenly felt self-conscious and tried to ignore him by fidgeting with the hem of my leather jacket.

A few hours later, the moon was visible, it was full and beautiful,

I jerked as I heard a metal clank,  I looked and it was Liam, he was breathing hard and clutching the triskelion with a tight grip.

"Whatever you were gonna teach me, I think you better start," he said and grunted.

"Liam you with me? We have a mantra that we use, you repeat it and focus on the words. It's like meditating, you say the words until you feel control coming back to you-" he said

"Okay. Okay, okay! What are the words!?" he asked struggling to keep his anger to himself.

"Okay look at the triskelion. See the symbol? I have a tattoo on my back, it's the same thing. Each spiral means something." said Derek hurriedly,

"Alpha, Beta, Omega," said Stiles,

I was just looking at their faces and Liam, he was breathing hard, beads of sweat plastered his forehead, it killed me to him like this, all miserable...

"It represents the idea, that we can always rise to one and fall back to another."

"Betas can become alphas," Derek said,

"Alphas can become Betas..." said Stiles,

"Can Alphas become Omega?" asked Liam and Derek nodded in reply.
