*This contains drinking. I don't go into detail about it, or have anyone get drunk, but just a fair warning that there is alcoholic beverages. Don't hate me, I needed a plot.*

"Sans, Papyrus! Can you both come here?" I yell up to the two brothers. Papyrus pokes his head put of the kitchen. He has a towel, and is drying his hands. "Yes, Y/n?" He questions. I lift an eyebrow. "Oh, sorry. If I'd known you were cooking I wouldn't have said anything." I apologize.

Papyrus shakes his head. "It's quite alright. I haven't begun the preparation so I'm available." He says. Meanwhile, Sans stumbles down the stairs. "Huh? Oh, I'm up. I've been up." Sans says as he yawns. Leading me to believe he's been asleep all afternoon.

"We both know that's not true, Sans." Papyrus says. He looks annoyed, but doesn't comment further. I giggle, and make both brothers take a seat in the living room. "Anyone up for a game of sorts?" I ask mischievously.

Sans smirks, and leans in closer. "What kinda game we talkin' about, dove?" He asks. "A get-to-know-you kind of game." I say, ignoring his chosen nickname for me. "What exactly does this game entail?" Papyrus asks.

I hold up a bottle of wine, and smirk. "Someone asks a question, and if you refuse to answer, you take a shot of wine. If someone doesn't answer though, you get to ask another question. Simple really. Most would see this as something good to be honest." I say, realizing the error of my newfound game.

"I'm in." Sans says, eying the wine. I look to Papyrus expectantly. He sighs, and smiles as well. "Who could pass up the chance to hear what's never been answered? I for one will be avoiding the wine." Papyrus says. I nod, and open the bottle.

Three glasses were already set up in front of us, and I pour some of the red liquid into each of them. "Who's askin' the questions first?" Sans asks. I shrug. "You want to do it?" I ask him. He shrugs as well, and nods. "Alright here we go. Anyone here ever committed a crime?" Sans asks while trying not to laugh.

"Come on I wanna hear some dark secrets, you two." Sans says while holding back a smile. "Darn, you got me." I say. "I as well." Papyrus says while laughing. Sans snorts, and looks at Papyrus doubtfully. "My bro? Committed a crime? Not in a million years." Sans says.

"Does stealing Muffet's doughnuts as a child not count?" Papyrus asks. "That's why she doesn't like you?!" I ask. Muffet has always held a frown when Papyrus is around. "Oh right. Guess I forgot about that." Sans says.

I look over at him, and see he's staring down at his lap, confused. "I guess I'll take over know." I say. Sans' attention snaps back up to me, and he's smiling again. "Yeah, give it your best shot." He says.

"Anyone here have a secret crush?" I asks while laughing. I feel like a fourth grader spilling juicy secrets again. "Pass." Sans responds almost immediately. He quickly downs his cup, and refills it. He sticks his yellow tongue out at me to reveal a red stain on it. I roll my eyes, and Papyrus stares down at Sans.

Papyrus rolls his pinpricks as well, and continues the game. "No, I don't." Papyrus says. I nod my head, and ask another question. "Who actually pushed me into the lake?" I ask. I've been aware that it was one of these two for a while, and have been waiting for them to play this game so I could ask.

"Pass." Both of them say in unison. Both brothers down their drinks, and refill them. I stare at them, my mouth hanging open. "So it was both of you?!" I ask. Papyrus looks at the ceiling, and starts awkwardly patting his pants. Sans winks at me, and teleports away.

"Papyrus!" I whine. "My apologies, Y/n! I meant not for you to get sick. It was Sans' idea!" Papyrus says before taking off. Sans' idea, huh? I think to myself.

-Flashback-

"Undyne!! I can't see anything!" A younger version of myself whines. It's pitch black, and we're playing hide-and-seek in Waterfall. "Well, not my problem! Just chase anything that moves!" My seeker partner yells back from farther away.

"Fine." I grumble back. I continue looking around, and come across the tip of a waterfall. The water flows down into a bright blue lake. My eyes shine as I watch bioluminiscente creatures swim around.

"Hyah!" I hear someone grunt from behind me. I'm pushed forward, and stumble into the lake. I swim upward to yell at whoever did that, and hear someone laughing their head off. I drag myself onto the small beach nearby, and start to cry.

My clothes being soggy, and cold. The darkness offering no warmth. I hiccup, and continue crying. The laughing from before had stopped. The person responsible for this seems to have left. And soon enough I hear Undyne running towards where I am.

"Hey! What happened?" She asks when she gets close enough. I continue sobbing, and Undyne frowns uncertainly. "Hey guys, games over! Y/n's hurt!" Undyne yells to everyone hiding. Sans is the first to teleport over.

Now that I know who it is, Sans' guilt is clearly visible. "Are--Are you alright?" Sans asks. I curl up as everyone else runs over. Someone's parents pick my up, and take me home.

For a few weeks I was sick with the fever. I had to stay in bed, and Doctor Gaster was the only person I was permitted to seeing.

-Flashback Ending-

I sigh as I recall what had happened that day. So, Sans was the skeleton responsible for my misfortune. I head up the stairs, and stand in front of Sans' room. I don't bother knocking.

"I know you're in there, Sans." I say. A click sounds, and I head in. "Shoving an eight year old into a lake isn't exactly what I'd call a 'practical joke'." I say. Sans smiles, nervously, up at me from his mattress. "That was a long time ago." He says.

"It still happened." I respond. "Sorry?" He says. Although, it's more of a question than an apology. "Yeah, okay." I say, and turn to leave. "I thought it'd grab your attention at the time." Sans says before I walk out. "What?" I ask, cluelessly.

"I thought that by pushing you into a lake that you would take notice of me." Sans repeats in more detail. He then groans, and tries to suffocate himself with a pillow. "I sound like an idiot, damn it." He says.

I stare at Sans, confused. "Why would you want my attention?" I ask. "Why do you think I avoiding your question from earlier?" Sans asks. He lifts his pillow so he can see my face, but I don't see the look he gives me. I'm staring at my hands, processing what he said.

"That doesn't make sense.." I say. "You don't." I pause when I notice Sans is staring at the ceiling, frowning. "I do, but that doesn't mean you have to too." He says. My eyes widen, and a burning sensation crosses my entire face.

I think about what I'm about to say, and silently let out a deep breath. "And if I do?" I say. Sans eye lights flicker to me, and he opens his mouth to talk. "W-What?" He stutters. A light yellow tint crosses his face, and he smiles. "You don't mean that." He says.

I frown, and go to sit next to him. "Really now?" I ask. Sans shrugs, and cowers away a bit. "But that's life. It is what it is!" He says, and shuts one of his eyes. I rolls my own eyes, and lean towards him.

"You'll continue to doubt I have feelings for you as well won't you?" I ask. Sans seems to stop short as he digests what I said. I smirk, and lean in closer. He leans away until he hits the wall behind him. I lean my face in close so our noses would be touching. If he had one..

A bright yellow hue erupts from Sans face. "After years of you flirting, I've finally made you blush." I tease. Sans' face somehow burns brighter, he leans in, and plants his teeth on my lips. I kiss back, but break away to breath.

Sans starts sweating, and retracts his arms from my waist. He had wrapped them around me during the kiss. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that." Sans apologizes quickly. I chuckle, and hug him. "Took you long enough." I whisper.

Sans freezes, but after a bit, he wraps his arms around me once again. "I guess I have quite a few things to apologize for." Sans says.
