As Roman's invasion continues to wreck havoc across the city, Roman Torchwick and Izawa began fighting one another. Aizawa attempts to use his Combat Scarves to restrain Roman, but Roman was able to dodge the attacks. Roman then closed the distance and began attacking Aizawa with his cane.

Roman: Surely you can do better!

Aizawa then launched a counter attack and managed to land several good hits on Roman. Roman soon gained the upper hand when he parried one of Aizawa's strikes and followed through by sweeping Aizawa's legs with his cane, causing Aizawa to fall on his back. Roman attempts to finish Aizawa off with his cane, but Aizawa was able to grab the cane and push it against Roman's face, disorienting him.

Aizawa: It's going to take more than that to take me down.

As Aizawa pressed the attack, Roman was forced to retreat. Aizawa quickly chased him through the halls of UA. Aizawa soon chased Roman to the stairway that led to the rooftop. Before Roman could react, Aizawa tackled him through the door, taking them both to the roof. As Roman and Aizawa got up, they looked at the chaos that was happening below them.

Aizawa: Look at what you've done! How many people died because of you?!

Roman: No great change comes without sacrifice. I don't take joy in the lives being taken today.

Aizawa: You're no better than the League!

Roman: Please don't insult me. The League of Villains want chaos for the sake of chaos. I believe in controlled chaos. I believe chaos can lead to order. Chaos leads to change, whether we chose to accept it or not.

Aizawa: And how does that make you better than the League?

Roman: Believe it or not, I actually loathe the League of Villains. I think they give criminals with class a bad name. Look what they've accomplished. All they've done was create chaos. However, they did force All Might to retire so I will give credit where credit is due. But look at what I accomplish. I'm in the midst of destroying the old world and building a new one in it's place. I will extend my invitation once more. Join me, Eraserhead. Join me and we can accomplish great things together. You know as well as I do of the moronic nature of the Hero Association. We need not be enemies.

As Roman extended his hand to Aizawa, Aizawa had his answer before Roman finished his question.

Aizawa: You're even more delusional if you think I'd ever align myself with a Villain.

At that point, Roman simply lets out a disappointed sigh. While he expected this kind of answer from Aizawa, he was still nonetheless disappointed.

Roman: Truly a shame, but I understand it cannot be helped. Perhaps in another live, we could've been powerful allies. Very well. To the death then.

Roman readied his cane as Aizawa readied his combat scarves. Both men locked on to each other as they paced around each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. Like Sherlock Holmes and James Moriarty in Reichenbach Falls, Roman and Aizawa would duel on the rooftops of UA. Roman soon made the first move as he lunged at Aizawa and began swinging his cane at him, but Aizawa was able to parry his attacks. Aizawa then presses the assault with a series of flurried attacks, but Roman kept up a good defense. Roman then attempts to sweep Aizawa's legs, but Aizawa was able to react quickly.

Roman: You truly are my equal, Eraserhead! A shame it must come to this!

Roman then pressed the attack once more, but Aizawa was able to put up a good defense. Once he saw an opportunity, Aizawa lands a devastating punch in Roman's lower abdomen. He then follows through with a kick under the chin. As Roman staggers back, he inadvertently backs up to the ledge of the roof. As Roman begins to fall, Aizawa throws his Combat Scarves and catches the falling Roman by the ankle.

Roman: You truly are a Hero, Eraserhead! Even with everything I've done, you still save me. Why? Why go out of your way to help a scoundrel like me?

Aizawa: Because you're not getting off that easy. I'm taking you in. You're going to answer for your crimes, Roman.

Roman smirks as he looks through the window in front of him. To his shock and horror, he sees the lifeless body of his beloved Neo leaning against the wall.

Roman: Neo....

Roman looked upon the lifeless body of Neo with sadness in his eyes. He couldn't help but shed a few tears for his beloved companion. Neopolitan was one of the only people in this world that he truly loved more than his own ambitions. As Aizawa began to pull Roman up, Roman smirked as he tightly clutched his cane.

Roman: Such is life....

Without hesitation, Roman pulls out the hidden knife from his can and cuts the Combat Scarves holding him. As he does so, he begins to plummet to the ground. As he passes by the window, he catches a final glimpse of his beloved Neo.

Roman: (Such is life, my dear Neo...)

Roman closes his eyes as he accepts his fate. His body soon crashes to the ground, killing him instantly. As Roman dies, his invasion followed. The Pro Heroes were able to launch a daring counter offensive and take them down. In that moment, the invasion was over and the ambitious undertaking, died with Roman Torchwick.
