C17: Awkward Atmosphere: No One

💡CHAPTER 17:

Y/N'S POV:

Time passed by so fast as the dinner was already finished, but the whole time there were an awkward tension in the room as I and Pd Nim were the only ones who's talking

The boys didn't even bother to talk, not a single word. Well, not like Namjoon, atleast he talked when his manager asked something to him

We got out of the restaurant with the boys wearing their masks, even if it's already late, there were still much people around the street

"I should go now Pd Nim, thanks for the dinner. See you guys at work tomorrow"

I smiled as I bowed at them

Pd Nim:Wait, one of the boys will drop you at your hotel. It's late now and much dangerous for you also. Well, see you tomorrow Ms. Y/n looking forward to you

He stated eyeing the boys before walking to his car

His car's engine started as it drove away from us little by little disappearing from our sight

'Well, this is awkward'

I looked at them who was standing behind me silently all this time

"U-uhm, it's fine I can go back on my own. So..I'll be going now"

I bowed once again, turning my heels around walking away from them

:Wait,

I heard one of them said making me stop and turned back to them

"Yes?"

I asked formally

:I'll drop you off

They stated at the same time making the atmosphere more awkward for us

Just then, they started to argued with each other on who's going to send me off

"Uhm.."

I trailed off as I stood there not knowing what to do nor what to say

'Can I just walk away? This is so awkward'

'Also, it's cold out here'

I asked myself while I secretly gritted my teeth while rubbing my arms because of the cold wind hitting me

Also my outfit was just thin and my arms are exposed which didn't help my situation causing me to let out a sneeze

They all stopped talking as they shift their heads onto me

A figure walked to me taking off his coat before wrapping it around me

JHope:I'll take her back to the hotel, you boys continued your business I know you have other plans to do after this dinner

Yoongi:I don't

He shrugged and before the others can argued back JHope shot them a look before leading me to a car

I sat on the passenger's seat while he walked around to the driver's seat starting the car and drove off leaving the others behind

"I could've just get a taxi, I only caused you guys to argue with each other"

I said as I hung my head down low

JHope:It's okay Y--Ms. Y/n

"Oh please if we were alone just call me by my name, don't be formal. Just like what you called me before"
