The Avengers, His little Monster

Ch. 21 "Twins"

                                                           Third Person POV 

Bruce walks out of the Bathroom, Natasha is waiting, 

"I didn't realize you were waiting," Bruce said 

"I would've joined you but uh, it didn't seem like the right time," Nat said 

"They used up all the hot water," Bruce said 

"I should've joined you," nat said 

"Missed our window," Bruce said 

"Did we?" Nat said 

The world just saw the Hulk the real Hulk for the first time, you know I need to find Lilly and we have to leave," Bruce said 

"But you assume that I have to stay? I had this um, dream the kid that seems normal at the time but when you wake.." Nat said 

"What did you dream?" Bruce said 

"That I was an Avenger that I was anything more than the assassin they made me," Nat said 

"I think your being hard on yourself," Bruce said 

"Here I was hoping that was your job," Nat said she leans close into him 

"What are you doing?" Bruce said 

"I'm running with it, with you if you and Lilly running's the plan as far as you want," Nat said 

"Are you out of your mind?" Bruce said 

He turns away from her, 

"I want you to understand that I'm..." Nat said 

"Natasha where can I go? where in the world am I not a threat?" Bruce said 

"You're not a threat to me, and that little girl," Nat said 

"You sure even if I didn't just... there's no future with me, I can't ever... I can have kids do the math I physically can't, Lilly is the only exception and she's not biologically mine," Bruce said 

"Neither can I in the Red Room, where I was trained where I was raised um, they have a graduation ceremony they sterilize you it's efficient one less thing to worry about the one thing that might matter more than a mission it makes everything easier even killing," Nat said 

She hesitates 

"You think your the only monster on the team?" Nat said 

Bruce looks at Nat, 

"Nat I need her back, who knows what they are doing to her, It makes me uneasy she's the only thing that calms me, the big guy inside me is uneasy about her being taken and that's not a good thing," Bruce said 

"We'll get her back," Nat said 

                                              Lilly POV 

I hear voices, someone is holding me, my head is on their shoulder, the smell it's the one of the two people who prevented me from going after daddy, 

"How soon? I'm not being pushy," I hear Ultron's voice 

"We're imprinting a physical brain there are no shortcuts even if your magic gem is.." I hear Dr. Cho, I thought 

"How could you?" I hear a voice 

"How could I what?" Ultron said 

My heavy eyelids slowly flutter open, 

"You said we would destroy the Avengers, make a better world," I see the girl talking to Ultron 

"It will be better," Ultron said 

"When everyone is dead," The girl said 

"That is not...! the human race will have every opportunity to improve," Ultron said 

"And if they don't?" The guy holding me said 

"Ask Noah," Ultron said 

"You're a madman," The girl said 

"There were more than a dozen extinction level events before even the dinosaurs got theirs when the earth starts to settle god throws a stone at it and believe me he's winding up we have to evolve there's no room for the weak," Ultron said 

"And who decides who's weak?" The guy holding me said 

The girl breaks the scepter's hold off of Cho

"Life, Life always decides there's incoming the Quintet, we have to move," Ultron said 

"That won't be a problem," Cho said canceling the system, 

Ultron sighs and blasts at her causing her to fall to the ground, 

Next thing I know we are somewhere else, 

The man sets me down on my feet

I look up at the pair, with my puppy eyes, 

"Aww sister can we keep her," The guy said 

"Pietro please," The girl said kneeling in front of my 

"Are you hurt?" She said 

I shook my head no, 

"Vhat's your name?" She asked 

"Lilly... my name's Lilly," I said shyly 

"Lilly that's a pretty name, I'm Wanda and this is my brother Pietro," She said
