My heavy eyelids slowly flutter open, I blinked a few times I quickly sat up causing me to hiss in pain, remembering what happened last night,
That nice Man named Bruce saved me, and stitched me up, I like him he's nice,
I stick my nose in the air and smell something good, I thought
I slowly got out of bed, I cautiously walked down the hallway, I find it hard to trust, not just because of what happened but because of the animal inside of me, I thought
I cautiously walked down the stairs tip toeing as quietly as I could, earning a creaking noise every once in a while,
I poke my head in the kitchen to see Bruce cooking something, what is it that he is making? I thought I had my small hands wrapped around the corner of the wall as I watched,
He turned around to see me,
"Good morning Lilly, you hungry?" He said smiling kindly at me,
I hesitated for a moment,
"It's alright, I won't hurt you remember," He said
I nodded slowly walking up to the table sitting at the table
I looked at the food, it was fluffy and yellow, what is this? I thought
I looked up at him tilting my head,
"It's eggs, don't you like eggs?" He asked
"What are eggs?" I asked
He did a double take not sure if he heard me correctly,
"They come from chickens they are good," He said smiling at me,
I pick them up with my fingers sticking one in my mouth, I have to say they were delicious, I thought,
He sat down next to me,
"Do you not know how to use a fork?" He asked
"What's a fork?" I asked
He looked stunned again, he reached across the plate, I flinched a bit, then he showed me a odd looking item,
"This is a fork," He said smiling at me,
"You use it to pick up your food like this," He said showing me with the eggs on my plate,
"See, now you try," He said smiling
He handed me the fork and I did the same thing he did,
"Good now you put the food in your mouth with it on the fork,"He said
I did as he said
"There you go," He said smiling kindly at me,
"Lilly, I need to ask you a very very important question," He said gently
I nodded, I finally finished my food,
"Why did I find you the way I did yesterday?" He said
I looked away, could I trust this man, he took me into his home, took care of my wounds, dressed me and fed me,
I looked up at him,
"It's alright you can trust me," He said
I swallowed thickly,
"The truth is I am the monster everyone is looking for," I said quietly
He looked at me confused,
"I was perfectly safe in my cave, that was until they came for me," I said
"I don't understand why were you living in a cave?" He asked
"I guess I should show you," I said
I took his hand and took him outside taking off the shirt he gave me, and I thought of the image I wanted to look like
And he looked at me with complete shock, I mean I would too if a little girl just turned into a full grown wolf,

Bruce POV
It all made sense why she was so injured when I found her they were hunting her, this small child can turn into full grown animals,
It is amazing, but what brings me to the question where are her parents, I thought
"Lilly can you turn back for me please," I asked
She turned back and put the shirt on I gave her last night,
"Lilly Sweetheart," I said kneeling in front of her
"Where are your parents?" I asked
"I haven't seen them since I was two," She said looking down,
"What do you mean?" I asked
"I mean they took me in the middle of the woods.... they left me on a stump and told me not to move that they would be back for me," She said sadly
My eyes widened,
"I waited.... and waited.... and waited for them, but they never came back, so that's where I found my cave," She said looking at me innocently
I could feel the big guy inside of me getting angry, but I had to keep it together I didn't want to scare her,
Who would do this to a child just leave them in the middle of the woods to fed for themselves and at the age of two!!
Calm down Bruce Calm down, don't want the big guy coming out, I thought
"Are you going to leave me too?" She asked innocently looking up at me, even though I was kneeling
