once i reached home, i took out the candy and poured them into an empty jar.
satisfied with what i did to the remaning candy, i left them alone and went to the shower.
after coming out of it, my phone started ringing and i picked it up, only to be bombarded by a series of loud screaming.
"so, what did you do to the candy hearts ?"
i quickly snapped a picture of them and sent it over.
"that's nice. have you read what it says ? maybe there could be a secret message or something."
"why are you so interested in them ? is it because you're lonely ?"
"haha what ? no ..."
"if you want some i could buy a packet for you."
"no- that's not-"
"okay bye, see you next week."
i hung up the call and threw my phone onto my bed before reaching for my laptop.
plopping down on my bed in front of it, i pressed 'play' and the documentary for '7 worlds, 1 planet' came onto the screen.
the candy hearts long forgotten in my glass jar.
