my hands reached under my table to grab my books, but a cute pink plastic wrapper appeared in my hands instead.
opening it carefully, a small packet of about 10 candy hearts came into view along with a packet of strawberry milk.
"candy hearts and strawberry milk ? who would be so dumb to give you these ?" chenle leaned closer to me and snickered at the gifts.
"shut the fuck up or i'll make you."
"ohh scary. but seriously, who gave these ?" i shook my head and ate one, smiling at the sound of candy crushing.
"who do you think it could be ?" jisung asked and leaned towards us from behind.
"mmm ... probably that shotaro senior ? he's been trying to get your attention for a long time didn't he ?"
my brows furrowed together, "but didn't he graduate like last month ?"
"oh yeah, my bad."
"who's the dumbass now ?"
"shh, don't expose me."
chenle turned around and the two started to play some game on their phones, leaving me to stare at my gifts alone.
the plastic packaging crunching softly under my fingers as i looked at the gifts, trying to see who they're from.
"hmm ... maybe next time there will be."
placing them the candy hearts into my bag, i poked the straw into the milk and turned back to my worksheet, hoping to finish it before school ends.
