Unexpected turns of events (Techbur/TechnoSoot)

12 (worry)

"How is he?" The blond asked.

"I've no clue, they won't tell me." Wilbur admitted, looking up at the masked male with tears pricking the sides of his eyes.

Dream leaned down and gave the male a quick hug before standing back up straight. "I hope he's alright..." he mumbled looking at Sapnap then Wilbur.

"What even happened?" The black haired male asked, listening to bits and pieces of the conversation.

"I don't fully know myself, I heard him yell 'help!' Loudly from the entrance of the gates and the collapse onto the ground." He mumbled, shivering slightly at the memory. "He had blood dripping from his side and leg, a trail behind him too. We all ran towards him as soon as he heard his yell."

"Wh-"

"You can come in see the prince." A doctor said interrupting their conversation, Wilbur went to get up too but he was stopped. "Are you in any way related to the young man?"

"I-..."

"Only family and friend can go see him."

Sapnap yawned and let go of Dream's hand, causing the tall blond to frown and stop, truning around and doing a slight grabby hand for the other boys hand. "One second Dream." Sapnap giggled, walking over towards the doctor and Wilbur. "He's Techno's lover." He said interrupting the rude doctor.

He looked at them judgingly before taking a step back and letting Wilbur past. The tall brown haired male shared a smile to Sapnap, a thankful expression on his face while his eyes shined with worry and fear.

The shorter of the three walked back over to Dream and grabbed his hand once again with a chuckle, a tired smile spread across his face and he leaned on the blond as they walked.

Wilbur froze up and stood in the middle of the door frame, staring at the stupidly pale male on the bed, so many bandages around him, it was clear his heart was beating slower than it's supposed to. To be fair with the state he was in he expected the male to be dead but he held his hopes high.

Wilbur took a deep breath before walking fully into the room and took a seat close to the bed. He stared at the unconscious male sadly, reaching a hand over to move some of his hair out of his face.

"He should wake up in the next few days." The doctor from before said walking into the room and checking his clipboard. "He's lucky to be alive, good job on getting him here, a moment sooner and we would've lost him." He continued as calmly as he possibly could. "I'll leave you all alone for now but visiting hours should be over soon."

"Wait." Wilbur said standing up and turning to face the doctor.

"Yes?" He asked looking up from his clipboard.

"Could I possibly stay the night? Please? I could just sleep on the chair."

The doctor looked at him then to the other two males in the room, Dream was nodding towards the doctor while Sapnap just stood there, not knowing what to do.

The doctor sighed and nodded. "Fine, you'll have to tell whatever doctor or nurse that comes in next that you're allowed to stay though."

"Thank you, thank you so much." Wilbur grinned sitting back down next to the bed, placing his hand over Techno's and giving it a light squeeze. "Please be okay." He mumbled.

After awhile the doctor walked out after checking up on Techno, leaving the three worried boys in the room by themselves, looking at the unconscious male in hopes he'd wake up soon but deep down they knew he wouldn't. They were all basically on top of one another, trying to cheer one another up or just annoy them until it took their mind of the situation.
