He went up the fire escape (because I have no clue how students in Japanese get to the roof), got to the rooftop and looked over the edge
But thanks to his luck, Bakugo was just leaving school and spotted him
Midoriya didn't realize Bakugo was running to stop him from making a stupid decision
He started to take off his socks and just take his last deep breathe, just as he heard the door barge open
Bakugo stood there just staring trying to think of the right words but nothing was coming to mind
Midoriya realized if he stood any longer he would be stopped, so he tried to get over the railing
"Deku, if you go over that fucking railing I will hold your ass still and call your mom and 911"
Ik it's rushed but I wrote Chapter 8 before this so I was just eager to get to the right part
