Y/n POV

Erik ran inside the back door and up to his room, he locked the door and sat me down on the bed.

Erik: y/n are you okay

Y/n: yes Erik i'm fine

Erik: I don't even know what happened

Y/n: I didn't see Lyle anywhere

Erik: idk my brother isn't a murderer

We heard banging on the door and I heard Lyle's voice

Lyle: Erik Erik let me in

Erik unlocked the door and Lyle ran in closing the door behind him and locking it, he had a gun in his hand

Y/n: L-Lyle what's that

Lyle: it's a gun what does it look like

Erik: what happened Lyle

Lyle: okay i'll explain it to you

Lyle's POV

After Erik and y/n left, I left Mia there and just walked around town. I was so mad at myself, then I remembered the party tonight, I never decided want to get y/n and then it clicked. I knew what I needed to do, I went to the gun store and they allowed me to buy a simple handgun. I bought it and showed up late to y/n's party, when I finally found him I shot him when I had the chance.

Back to Y/n POV

I couldn't believe what he was saying

Erik: Lyle why did you do that

Lyle: you know what he does to her and now her and her mom won't lose the money

I had so many mixed emotions but I wasn't sad, I was glad. It felt so wrong but I hated him so much

Y/n: so you shot my dad

Lyle: you can't tell anyone at all

Y/n: so no one saw you

Lyle: maybe I was up in your bedroom window

Erik: Lyle what happens if you get caught

Lyle: we have to get rid of the gun

I looked around Erik's room and seen his bag, I grabbed it.

Y/n: wipe off the finger prints and put it in here

Lyle did what I told him, I put on the back and grabbed Erik's keys

Y/n: well come on slow ass

They both followed me, I got into the car and drove up to the hollywood sign, on the way up I stopped the car by a cliff edge, I grabbed the gun out of the bag with my sleeve and threw it off.

Y/n: rot in hell

I got back in the car and drove up to the sign,
We all got out and sat on the edge of the hill and looked down at the city, I remember when Lyle brought me here, I looked over at him and smiled.

Erik: so what do we do now

Y/n: we act normal

Erik: they will probably question you

Y/n: I can handle it

Lyle: what about your mom

Y/n: she never has to know who shot him

Lyle: y/n, I hope you know i'm sorry I just kinda missed her

Y/n: well before the shot Erik was yk

Erik: yeah he made it perfect timing

Lyle: you can date him if you want I can stay with Mia

Erik: mhm thanks

Y/n: stop it you two

Erik: I was asking you and just ruined it

Y/n: yes Erik I will be your girlfriend
