~Juvia's PoV~

I sat back down tiredly onto the couch, and stared out of the large picture window. I gazed at the view of Magnolia, the Fairy Tail guild clearly visible from our living room.

I heard the door click open and footsteps going up the stairs. "I'm home!"

I giggled as I saw Gray come up the stairs and into the living room. "Welcome back!"

He leaned over the couch and planted a quick kiss on my lips before heading over to the kitchen. He shortly came back with a bowl of purple grapes.

"You know you should come by the guild sometime. They haven't seen you in weeks." He said as he gently sat next to me.

I smiled at him but kept my gaze on Magnolia. "I know, I know. But I'm 6 months pregnant, I don't really feel like going out much."

Gray put his arm around me and kissed me softly on the top of my head. "Whatever makes you comfortable."

Gray and I had moved out of the Fairy Tail dorms and bought a house just on the outskirts of Magnolia, just like Gajeel and Levy did. We only lived a couple roads away from them.

I hadn't been to the Fairy Tail guild in about two weeks. I just stayed at home since I was quite exhausted most of the time.

Meredy and the others came by twice a week and filled me in on the gossip of the guild.

A few months ago Lucy and Natsu finally started dating, not before Erza had a talk to him about how oblivious he was being though.

There were some rumors that Jellal and Erza were secretly going out, but who knows with those two.

It had been a while since I saw all of them in the guild...

The sudden doorbell interrupted my thoughts, as it echoed across the house. Gray stood up and placed his bowl of grapes on the counter. "I'll get it."

He walked down the stairs and to the main door. I heard the door open and Gray talking to someone, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.

Once he walked back up, he had a letter with a very familiar red stamp sealing it. "What could the Magic Council possibly want with us?"

He shrugged and handed the letter to me. "He said it was for you."

For me? I took the envelope in my hands and carefully opened it. Gray sat beside me once again and watched me unfold the letter curiously.

Dear Miss Lockser,

We are aware that you had a member of your family currently serving their sentence under our care.

However, we regret to inform you that Invel Yura passed away three days ago. We found him unconscious while trying to escape the prison, and we were unable to get him the aid he needed in time.

We are terribly sorry for your loss,
Sincerely
Magic Council.

I read the letter over and over again. It couldn't possibly be true. Invel... died?

Gray, who was reading the letter along with me, put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close to him. "Are you okay?"

I didn't answer. I wasn't sure if I was okay, or if I wasn't. I was confused. The man that caused Gray and I suffering, the man that killed my parents, had just died. But... he was the only family I had left.

"I... I don't know..."

~Gray's PoV~

Juvia stared at the letter. Not reading it, just staring at the ink.

"I- I don't know what to think. He was my only family. A-And now he's gone." Her voice slightly cracked, but no tears escaped her eyes.

"Well..." I started. "He might've been the last of your blood family. But you still have a family, you have me. And you have Fairy Tail."

I took her in my arms as she rested her head on my chest. "Yeah... Fairy Tail is the best family I could've ever asked for. I'm glad I met you."

I smiled and slightly pulled away from her. "Besides, soon you'll start your own new bloodline." I cooed as I leaned into her and kissed her belly.

She laughed and rested her hands on her stomach. "Yeah, you're right."

I watched her as she looked down to her stomach. She was beautiful. I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't met her.

My future wife.
