~Gray's PoV~

The sound of cluttering disturbed me. It sounded like pots and pans being banged together repeatedly.

I squeezed my eyes and then opened them slowly. I must've fallen asleep...

I sat up from the couch and looked around me. The streaming lacrima had been turned off and Juvia was nowhere to be seen.

The cluttering began once more and I noticed it was coming from the kitchen. I stood up and walked over to the door and leaned against the door frame.

I found Juvia organizing her different drawers and cabinets, with utensils, plates, pots and pans scattered around the counter.

"What are you doing? I told you you shouldn't be moving around when you have a fever." I narrowed my eyes at her. How many times do I have to repeat myself before she listens.

She chuckled but kept her gaze on the pans. "I checked my temperature earlier when I woke up. My fever's gone."

"What? How? That quickly? How long was I out for?"

She stopped her organizing and looked at me. "One question at a time. Yes my fever is gone, no I don't know how it disappeared that fast, yes that quickly and four hours."

"Four hours?!" Geez, was I asleep for that long? What a waste of time.

"Uh huh. Anyways, my fever is gone so you should head home as well before it gets dark." She stepped out of the kitchen and handed me the jacket I gave her on the mission. "And take this, I didn't get the chance to return it before."

I took the jacket from her hands and placed it back on the couch. She headed for the door but stopped once she noticed I wasn't following her out.

"What are you doing? I said I'm fine now."

I crossed my arms and leaned back against the wall. "Why don't you want me here?"

She looked at me dumbfounded but quickly regained her posture. "What are you talking about?"

"Juvia ever since I arrived here you've been trying to get rid of me, don't think I haven't noticed. You keep telling me you're okay and that you don't need my help."

"Gray that's not fair."

"What's not fair? Juvia why don't you want me here? Do you have something to hide or is it simply that you don't want to be around me?!" I raised my voice a little too loud.

I stared at her in the eyes and saw her shocked expression at my sudden snap. It was then I knew I had taken it too far.

I didn't mean to frighten her, I just couldn't bare the thought of her not wanting to be near or around me.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean t-"

"I'll tell you what isn't fair. It isn't fair that I've had to chase after you for years and had you ignore me!" She raised her voice and stared at the ground, not making eye contact with me.

"It isn't fair that you suddenly left and left me! It isn't fair that you came back to my life just when I thought I had gotten over you!" I saw her starting to shake as she dug her nails into her palms.

"All these years you were gone I tried to get over you. I really did. What am I supposed to believe Gray? First you tell me we're just guild mates, then you suddenly kiss me? What did it mean?! Tell me!"

I stood there dumbfounded, but not a single word escaped my mouth. I didn't know what to say.

I took a step forward and completely froze up when I heard her silently sobbing.

"It's not fair that after all this time I still have feelings for you..." I heard her mumble in between sobs. A single tear ran down her cheek and my eyes widened at the sudden confession.

She still had feelings for me? After all I had done to her she still had feelings for me.

Without a single word I slowly started walking towards her. She looked up at me and slowly backed away. "Leave me alone Gray."

I extended my arm and grabbed her by her wrist. I pulled her closer to me and put my arms around her shoulders, her head colliding against my chest and resting my head on top of hers.

"I'm sorry." I suddenly felt my face heating up and tears dripping down my cheeks. "I'm so sorry for what I said. And for making you wait so long without giving you an answer."

I felt as she hugged me back and felt her tremble in my arms. I planted a gentle kiss on top of her head and hugged her tighter.

"I love you Juvia Lockser. I'm sorry it took me so long to realize it."

I heard as her sobs got louder and she grabbed onto my shirt. "I love you too you idiot. Just don't leave me again... please."

"I won't."

~Juvia's PoV~

We spent the rest of day re organizing my dorm and watching the streaming lacrima, as Gray didn't want to leave me alone just in case my
fever were to come back.

We were sitting on my sofa and I checked the time. The clock on my wall marked 10:27 pm.

"Gray it's late won't they be worried if you don't go back to the boy's dorms?" I pointed to the clock signaling it with my finger.

He groaned and looked at the ceiling. "But I don't wanna leave."

I chuckled at his childishness. "Come on, you don't want them to question you do you?"

He looked at me with a defeated expression and sighed once again. "Fine..."

We both got up and he got his belongings. I peaked through my front door to check for anyone passing by.

I signaled Gray once I saw the coast was clear. "Quickly before someone comes."

He stepped out the door but turned around instead of leaving. "What are you doing?? Do you want to get caught?!" I whisper shouted to him.

"I nearly forgot to ask you something." He said with a small smile on his face. Oh Mavis what did he want now? "Will you be my girlfriend?"

My heart skipped a beat at the sudden question. I felt my cheeks heat up and I looked at him. "Y-Yes you idiot now go before someone sees you..."

He smiled widely and quickly ran down the corridor. What a lost cause...

I stepped back into my dorm and leaned by back against the door. As I thought of everything that had happened that day, I couldn't help the smile that crept up on my face.

I'm his girlfriend... I like the sound of that.
