The secret Keeper of the Moon's Tear has been a mystery the fans have always been trying to solve. In this chapter, I will give you all the information you need so you can come up with your amazing theories.

Origin:

The Moon's Tear is a powerful magical stone that at the time of The Moonlight Boy, has been lost in the human world. It reappears in Tenalach when Ferry and his friends confront Queen Saraid.

The legend says the Tear was found by a Great Fairy, one of Ferry's ancestors, in the Land of Akna. The powers of the stone are great:

✨ it can activate the Spear of Justice when there's a situation that asks for justice; however, if the Spear fails to make justice, the Tear loses a part of its abilities

✨ it can make someone forever young if it stays in his/her possession

✨ when the Spear of Justice is activated in five separate worlds, it recharges the Moon's Tear, giving it the power to create life

✨ when touched by someone of noble blood who knew true love, it gains a special power that can turn it into a star

✨ it possesses one of the strongest energies under special conditions

✨ it can be felt by small fairy creatures because it leaves a mark on the Keeper

Background:

The Moon's Tear is a recurrent motif in Ferry's Tale series. In The Moonlight Boy, we learn that May has been the Keeper of the Moon's Tear without knowing it. She had the Tear from her Grandmother who hid it in a hair comb.

Her grandmother has been the Keeper before her and had the Tear from a real fairy she met in her youth

Her grandmother has been the Keeper before her and had the Tear from a real fairy she met in her youth. The fairy also advised May's grandmother to give the comb to her granddaughter who will give it to "the moonlight boy" when the time shall come. May even has a picture of that fairy, but as always, a fairy cannot appear in a picture because they come from a different reality.

Even Ferry was the Keeper of the Tear in The Moonlight Boy without even knowing it. In The Lost Son, however, anyone can be the Keeper because the Spear of Justice is activated in the maze during the Quest, and there are many humans and fairies present on the scene, either seen or unseen.

Premises:

Since you can't make a proper theory without a premise (or more), here are the premises for the Keeper:

✨ it can be either fae or human

✨ he/she has to be in Ferry's proximity when the Spear of Justice is activated (either in visible or invisible shape)

✨ he/she can feel the power of the Tear growing when the time to make justice is near

✨ the stone consumes and weakens the Keeper becoming a burden to him/her if it stays in their possession for too long

✨ small fairy creatures can feel the Tear and its keeper

✨ the Keeper must keep it on him/her the whole time

Well, that's about it. Now it's time for your theories. Can't wait! But remember, I can't deny nor confirm them so I won't spoil the future books for you. As always, thank you for being amazing!
