Mads: here I am
I let out a nervous chuckle and he just stood by the door way and stared at the two of us. Indie looked at me and I looked at her. She looked back at Zach and told him to go away. He shrugged and walked away, while indie got up and closed her room door
Indie: that was weird
Mads: yep
Indie: anywayssss, I was thinking! Did you wanna go shopping tomorrow?
Mads: sure! What time?
Indie: well I have something I need to help my mum with in the morning so maybe in the arvo? At around 5ish
Mads: yeah, I could come shopping
Indie: okay perfect! Where do you wanna go? Liverpool or parramatta
Mads: oooh tough pick..but are we talking about Liverpool Westfield or fashion spree?
Indie: either!
Mads: fashion spree, I want krisp kreme
Indie: fashion spree it is! I'll pick you up at around 4:30pm?
Mads: it's a date
Indie and I spent the next few hours talking about the most random but entertaining shit. She then said that she was gonna go grab us some snacks for a movie. When she left the room, Zach walked into her room. I looked up and panic rushed over my body because he was walking closer and closer towards me
Zach: hey Mads..
Mads: hello Zach, what's up?
Zach: not much
He sat down directly in front of me and put his hand on my face. Fuck indie hurry up! I wanted to scream for help. I did not want to be here. I saw Zach start to lean and I backed away. Thank god there was lots of space for me to back up in. When he realised that his lips weren't meeting mine, he opened his eyes and shot me a glare
Zach: what are you doing?
Mads: I have a boyfriend Zach
Zach: you're boyfriend died last year!
Mads: w-what how did you know about jaden? Did indie tell you?
Zach: no she didn't tell me!
Mads: then how did you know?
Zach: because I'm the one who crashed into his car!
Indie: what the fuck!?
Mads: you did what!?
Indie: am I hearing you fucking right Zach?
Zach: oh indie! Hey sis, what did you hear?
Indie: get out of my room right now!
Zach: wait ind-
Indie: RIGHT NOW
Zach got up and ran out of indies room. She closed the door and locked it. Her hands were full of snacks and drinks, which she placed on the bed and sat next to me. She gave me a hug and I returned it
Indie: Mads, I'm so sorry. I had no idea he did this
Mads: indie, I'm not mad at you don't worry
Indie: I just don't understand why he would do such a thing!
Mads: hey, hey, let's not spoil the mood. Put on our movie and let's try forgetting about this okay?
Indie: *sigh* yeah you're right
We got under the covers and got comfy. Indie had a tv in her room which was good. We decided to watch "Clueless" for the 8th time, but it was one of our favourite movies. I had a bag of skittles open, while indie had a bag of malteasers open. We were just eating our snacks and before we knew it, we had forgotten about her asshole brother. I could see how guilty indie felt because after the movie, we sat in silence before indie started crying. I comforted her into a hug and she cried in my arms
Mads: ssh, sssh. Indie it's not your fault
Indie: but if it wasn't for him, then jaden would be alive
Mads: yes he would have been alive, but then you wouldn't have met clay nor would I have met will. I'm going to have to go through heartbreaks one day indie and so are you. Don't blame yourself for something that Zach did. He is being a fucking idiot, but that doesn't reflect on you as a person
Indie: you're seriously the greatest friend I could ask for. No scratch that, you're the greatest sister I could ask for
Mads: I know I'm awesome
That caused her to laugh, anything to hear her laugh. The two of us eventually fell asleep talking about late night thoughts. Also mixed in with me having to reassure her that I wasn't mad at her whatsoever. She fell asleep laying her head in my lap while I was running my hands through her hair to help her fall asleep. I soon fell asleep as well. Tomorrow was a very busy day. The to do list was
- finish editing a video for Kath
- edit a video for click
- help tommy film a video
- play among us with some people
If I left indies house at around 8am latest, I could get everything done before 4pm. I can get the work done just as long as no one *cough cough* Lannan, disturbs me
