You unlock the door with the keys you have. You then go inside and carefully took off your shoes. "I'm home." You say, but no answer was heard, nor you heard any footsteps.

After a few seconds of waiting, you smiled to yourself as you exhaled. You stood up and walked to your shared bedroom with your girlfriend, Mikasa.

As soon as the door opened, you saw her lying on the bed, asleep. Her hands were taking a hold of each other with her head resting on top, her legs were slightly spread out.

You smiled at the sight and quietly walked to the bathroom to not disturb her. You started changing into your pajamas.

After you're done, you exit the bathroom and lay on the bed. You wrap your arms around Mikasa's waist and bury your face onto the crook of her neck.

"Mhm." You hear her hum. "You still awake?" You ask. "Yeah. I've been waiting for you. But I ended up almost falling asleep." She replies. You smile and kiss her shoulders.

"Thank you, and sorry for making you wait." You say softly. Mikasa chuckles and turns around to face you.

"Don't be sorry, it was all worth it in the end." She says and kisses your nose. You smile and peck her on the lips.

"I just want to hear three words from you." She tells you. "Three words? Do you expect me to know those three words?" You ask.

"You always say that to me, but it feels good to hear them after a long day of waiting," Mikasa says as she wraps her arms around you.

You smile, finally getting the idea. You pull her close and kiss her cheek. "I love you." You whisper softly.

Mikasa smiles and closes her eyes. "I love you, too." She said back and she drifts to sleep. She's so adorable. You thought. You then close your eyes and drift to sleep, hugging Mikasa up close.
