It was another day of training. I go to the bathroom and wear my uniform. As soon as I go out of the bathroom I see my friend, Mikasa. My lips curl into a smile and I approach her. "Hey Mikasa! Good morning!" I greet her. She then looks away as her face becomes bright red. She looks back to me with a warm and heart melting smile. "Good morning to you too, (y/n)." She greets back.

Mikasa is the most kindest friends I've had. She always cared for me and she's really soft. I don't really know why she wanted to join the military. But I heard she did it for her foster brother, Eren. But still, Mikasa is too soft to get hurt. Her smile is so delicate. She's just a little precious bean.

"Say, lets go and grab some breakfast, yeah?" I ask her. "Yeah! Let's go before we start training!" She says full of happiness.

We both go to the mess hall and see Eren and Armin sitting on a table. Mikasa then smiles and grabs my arm before she runs to them. "Hey, Mikasa! You didn't have to grab my arm, you know." I yell at her playfully. "Sorry! I was just excited to see Eren and Armin!" She exclaimed. "Let's sit now, shall we?" I say. "Good morning (y/n)." Armin greets me. "Good morning to you too." I say to him as I smile warmly. I look to the side to see Mikasa and Eren chatting and I started frowning a little. Eren is my friend but I really envy him. Someone really beautiful like Mikasa is all over him. Almost everything Mikasa talks to me about is Eren. But I should stop. Mikasa is straight and I am not. "(Y/n)?" Armin calls me that made me snap out of my thought. My head shifts to Armin as I raise my eyebrows. "Yeah?" I ask. "I know this may be sudden but..do you have someone in your mind?" He asks that made my cheeks turn bright red. "Me? No, I don't have any. Why?" I lie. "Nothing. Because I've observed your actions when you were with Mikasa." He tells me. Oh shoot- wait he observed us?! I nervously laugh as I scratch the back of my head. "I didn't know you observed us." I say to him then he laughs nervously.

"But do you really not like someone?" Armin asks me. I shake my head as an answer. "Seriously. I really don't have someone in mind. How about you?" I ask him. "Not at the moment, but maybe soon." He tells me. "Hey guys can you walk with me for a little talk?" Mikasa butts in. Eren then shakes his head. "Sorry, Mikasa. I'm busy training." He answers. "I'm busy too, I also need to train since I'm not good, yet." Armin answers. "I can come." I tell her and her face lit up quickly. "Really?! Thank you (y/n)!" Mikasa says as she hugs me tight. My cheeks went really red just like that.
"Y-You're welcome Mikasa but-you don't have to hug me!" I tell her. I look to the two to see Armin smiling to the both of us and Eren wearing a smug on his face. Mikasa doesn't listen and keeps hugging me. I sigh and gently hug back.

~Two Years Later~

After the graduation, we were all separated into squads. I was with Mikasa. She looked a little nervous but I was there with her. But it became worse when we saw a colossal titan kick the wall and let titans in. I had Mikasa follow me everywhere to make sure she's safe.

The both of us separated from our squad and stayed on a roof of a house. "(Y-Y/n)...will we be safe?" Mikasa asks nervously. "As long as you stick with me, we're okay." I answer, looking around. "Just please be careful. I don't want you hurt." Mikasa spoke. I look to her and gave her a warm smile. "Don't worry, Mikasa." That's all I said before realizing a Titan was behind her. I just stood there with my eyes really wide. Mikasa gives me a worried look. "What's wrong?" She asks but I just look at the Titan. It then raises its hand. "Mikasa! Run!" I yell before the Titan smashes the roof. It then grabs Mikasa with its hand and brings her to its mouth. "Oh no you don't!" I yell then I use my blades to cut the back of the titan's neck. It falls and lets go of Mikasa and I quickly catch her and flew to a safer place then put her down. I let her go while panting. "I'm sorry I didn't get to save you earlier.." I tell her without looking at her. Mikasa then runs to me and hugs me tightly while crying. "M-Mikasa..?" "Thank you...I-I was so scared and...you saved me. Thank you (y/n)!" She tells me as she hugs me.

I smile then I hug her back. "I love you Mikasa...and no matter what, I'll protect you at all costs."
