When Lena woke up, she felt a warm breath on her throat. Slowly, her memories from last night came back. She opened one eye to see the sleeping beauty laying close next to her, her arms wrapped around Lena's waist. She breathed steady into Lena's throat.

Lena opened the other eye and put a quick kiss on Kara's forehead. Kara mumbled something and slowly opened her eyes. She looked at Lena, first confused, but then she remembered and she just pulled Lena closer to her, burrying her face in her neck.

They stayed like that for quite some time, until Kara's phone buzzed. She grumbled and turned over, picking it up.

"Kara, finally!" Alex voice sounded upset. Kara sat up.

"Alex. What's going on? Why are you calling?" The blonde glanced at Lena, who sat up and gazed at her.

"Well, you haven't been at your work and you didn't show up at the DEO and it's almost 10 am." Kara looked on the clock on her beside table. 9.53 am. "Since I am able to walk around again, I wanted to see you and I couldn't find you."

"So where are you now?" Kara looked a bit scared. She had a bad feeling.

"Well, in your apartment where you are, hopefully. Because if not I'm going to call your cousin."

Kara concentrated and heard Alex, she was currently in the stairwell. "Okay, see you soon." Kara hung off quickly and turned around to Lena.

"We have 40 seconds to get dressed and straight. Then Alex will walk through this door."

Lena quickly jumped up and off the bed, slipped into a hoodie and some joggers and jumped back in the bed again.

Kara used her superspeed and put away the clothes and leftover food which were spread out on the floor of the whole appartement. When she got back in the bed, she heard Alex turn the key in the lock.

"I'll do as if I sleep." Lena whispered and Kara could just nod and grin, until Alex opened the door to her bedroom and ran in.

When she realized Lena next to Kara, she looked surprised. Then she smiled wide. She grabbed her sister's arm and pulled her out of the bedroom and on the couch in the living room.

"What's going on with you?" Kara lifted an eyebrow. Alex giggled and pointed at the door to Kara's bedroom.

"Did you finally get the girl?" She asked, still smiling. Kara blushed.

"What are you talking about?" Kara asked innocently.

"Uhmm, your crush Lena Luthor..."

"What-" Kara tried to convince Alex but she was interrupted.

"I'm not blind. You two are definitly crushing on each other. And if you didn't find out last night then you might never." Alex looked at her waiting for an answer.

Kara finally sighted and nodded. She looked up at Alex. "Yes. Yes, we found out last night."Alex hugged Kara tight. "And, Alex?"

Alex pulled back and gazed at Kara, a wide grin on her face. "Yeah?"

"She knows I'm Supergirl." Kara whispered.

"She's not mad?" Alex frowned. "I thought she would be... Ohh-", she said when she realized, "you convinced her..." Alex smirked at Kara. "I bet you both had some fun while I was sitting in the DEO waiting to get out."

"Alex, I-" Kara realized Alex wasn't looking at her anymore. Kara turned around and her heart melted.

Lena stood in the doorway, in a hoodie and some joggers, her hair in a messy bun. Alex smiled at her.

Before Kara could say anything, Alex noticed the hickeys at Lena's neck. "A hot night, I guess..."

Lena and Kara blushed at the same time and Alex laughed. "Hey, I'm happy for you guys. But I didn't come here to find out you two are making out."

"Why are you here then?" Lena walked over to the couch, sitting down on Kara's lap and laying an arm around her girlfriend.

"When the man stunned me, he said something that made me question." Alex sat up. "He said that something didn't work. I thought about this for quite some time but I couldn't figure out what he meant. I checked his taser and everything else, when I finally found something. There were notes in his jacket. About how much power the taser needed to kill someone, and to kill Supergirl. I checked the taser again and I saw the setting wasn't meant to kill me."

Kara's eyes widened. "So you're saying, that he didn't mean to kill you."

"Yes. He never tried to kill me and he also never tried to kill Supergirl. I checked his file again. He had a child and a wife. He had a happy life. Until an accident in your laboratory happened." She looked at Lena. "Do you remember code 7, Lena?"

Lena looked back at Alex, her eyes widened. "Oh yes. Please don't tell me-"

"He was there. When it happened. He was affected. He was a victim of a failure. He got his powers, but I took a look at his cells and they were transparent. He died that night, Lena. And he tried to kill you because you forgot his family when he didn't show up to work again. He couldn't visit them, but he had to watch how his wife got raped and his child was sent to a children's home."

"Oh god." Lena buried her face in her hands. "How could I do that?" She whispered, quiet sobs making her tremble.

Kara wrapped her arms around her and thanked Alex for telling. Alex nodded, stood up and left the apartment. "It's not your fault. You didn't know you would cause that." Kara whispered into Lena's ear. Lena lifted her head and looked up at Kara with her eyes full of tears. She just sobbed quietly and buried her head in Kara's neck.

They stayed like that until Kara had convinced Lena that it was not her fault and she couldn't change it and that life goes on anyways. They cuddled, Lena rested her head on Kara's chest. Her breath got back to normal and Kara put on a movie. They didn't really watch it, but it was good for Lena to calm down. When the movie ended, Kara gave Lena a kiss on her forehead, lifted her up and carried her to the bedroom.

"I'll make us something to eat while you rest, because I'm starving." Kara said and covered Lena up with the blanket. She made her way to the kitchen and made breakfast for them, smiling about the fact that her now finally girlfriend was laying in her bed.

When she was done, she brought the breakfast over to Lena and they ate in Kara's bed. When they both finished, Kara put away the plates and opened her arms for Lena to nestle in.

The warmth of Kara's body and her calm and rhythmic heartbeat made Lena's heart melt and a feeling came up in her she hadn't felt since forever. "I'm home." She whispered.
