"maeee!!! hello!" i smiled as my friend sat down across from me.

"hello spence! i missed you," she exclaims.

"i already ordered our usual, it should be out pretty soon."

"ugh, youre the best! we havent hungout in so long, how are you?" she says.

"im alright. i met nicks friend the other day, hes a total asshole. but other than that, id say im doing pretty good!" i smiled.
"but enough about me, how are you?"

"im doing pretty good! ive improved in my art a lot, and i starting taking korean at school! i wanna be more connected to my culture,"

"wait, do you have your sketchbook with you?"

she nods. "yes, why?"

"oh my god! show me some of your recent art!"

she rolled her eyes, smiling as she took her sketchbook out of her tote bag.

she handed me her sketchbook. "i just got a new one, theres only a few drawings in there but feel free to flip through the pages."

"holy shit," i whispered, flipping through the pages. maes specialty is hyperrealism, shes crazy talented.

"mae, youre so good at this! you really need to credit yourself more," i said, looking up at her.

she grabbed her sketchbook out of my hands. "shut up," she laughed.
