I cried out, slamming into the ground. "Why did you jump into the lava?" Sapnap asked, orange bubbles floating around him as he dragged my limp body away from the lava.
"I got s-scared- please don't tell D-D-Dream you saw m-me!" I rasped, everything hurting.
"What? Why would I tell Dream I saw you?" He asked, picking me up.
"Y-You're his b-best friend..." I said weakly, feeling heavy and hot and weak.
Sapnap carried me through the main portal (which only made me feel worse) and to the community house, where he set me down on the floor, dropping water on me. I groaned slightly, the water cold and bringing me slight relief. "You still shouldn't have jumped. What if I didn't have fire resistance? I wouldn't have been able to go after you and you would have died!" He was digging through chests, sounding very worried.
"I-I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
"Please don't do something like that again..." He returned back to my side, giving me a golden apple, which I took and ate slowly, my hands hurting.
"I-I won't... where's T-Technoblade?" I looked around, only just noticing the pig man wasn't around.
"He left after you jumped. Why were you with him, though?"
"I've b-been staying with him for a while... Keeping him c-company."
"Dream said you tried to kill him, then ran away."
I looked at Sapnap. "I-I didn't try to hurt him at all..." I sat up, despite the movement making me want to scream in pain. "He took my c-crown..."
"He has your crown?"
I nodded, looking at the floor. "Thank you f-for saving m-my life, Sapnap, but I-I should go back to T-Technoblade."
"Why did he take your crown?" Sapnap was staring at me.
"I-I... He thought i-it was someone else's... F-Forget it, Sap. I'll see y-you." I got up, nearly collapsing, and started walking back towards the portal.
"Y/N." Sapnap ran over to me, pressing a glass bottle full of orange liquid into my hand. "Don't get hurt."
I nodded, slipping the bottle into my satchel. "Thank you." The I walked through the portal, throwing up over the edge again. I limped through the hellish dimension until I found the portal to the snowy area Technoblade called home, and slipped through, falling face first into the snow, making me cry out in relief, the snow soothing the burns on my skin.
"Y/N?" I turned my head, seeing Philza standing over me. "Why are you so burnt? Are you okay?"
"I-I fell into some lava, b-but I'm alright th-though," I said.
"Do you need help getting back to Techno's?" He offered me a hand.
"Yeah... Thanks..." I took his hand, and he helped me stand up. I leaned on him slightly, still in quite a fair bit of pain.
We walked through the snow until we reached Technoblade's home. Tommy was curled up on the floor by the fire, asleep.
"I'm going to go find Technoblade," I said, pulling Technoblade's cloak tighter around me. I jumped down the ladder hole, my hands to badly burnt to hold on long enough to climb down. I heard Technoblade mumbling to the hostage villagers, which were the floor below me, so naturally I went down a floor.
Technoblade turned around, having heard me crash into the stone floor behind him.
"What the- How are you alive?" Technoblade asked, hauling me to my feet and looking me up and down.
"Sapnap s-saved me, he had fire resistance on h-him."
"Oooh, did he give you a gapple?"
I nodded. "By the way, how is your c-cloak not burnt to a crisp?" I did a little spin, stumbling a little, showing Technoblade that his cloak was in fact not damaged at all by the lava.
"I soak it in fire resistance. Did you want snow or something?"
"I'm fine, I'm fine, only- only a little hurt." I took off his cloak, handing it back to him.
"Haha, sure kiddo. Come upstairs, I have a cream that can help with your burns." He climbed upstairs, and I hesitantly followed, my hands and muscles screaming in pain as I climbed up to the main floor. I sat down by the brewing stands as Technoblade grabbed magma cream. He crouched down and took my arm gently, putting the cream over my burns.
I watched him, noticing his hands badly shaking and how he avoided eye contact.
He finished, and stood up quickly. "I'm going to go back down to the villagers. Get something to eat and have some sleep."
"Alright, Technoblade, thank you."
