Y/N
I stood at the lava, staring into it. "Y/N, it's not that bad, it's just like how we were back in the good old days! Me and you against the world!"
I stayed silent, my head empty. I could feel my hard racing. I was breaking down on the inside. I didn't want to be stuck with him for the rest of his life. I reached out a hand into the lava.
"Y/N... What are you doing?" Dream walked over to me.
I launched myself into the lava, and it felt like a warm hug.
Arms wrapped around me, pulling me out from the lava's embrace. I immediately started thrashing and screaming, because the person hurt. Dream hurt to touch. Then I realised I was the one burning."SAM! Y/N NEEDS HELP!" Dream screamed, still holding me. I collapsed, burning alive. I stopped struggling, and Dream fell down with me, so I was laying on him a little, exhausted.
A week later
I'm so sick and tired of him.
I sat hugging my knees beside the lava, it was warm and if I closed my eyes I could sometimes pretend I was back at Technoblade's house."You're going to burn if you stay there."
I slowly looked from the lava to the masked idiot man standing just behind me, ready to grab me if I tried to burn again. "Shut the fuck up." I said slowly, staring at him.
He turned to me, shifting his mask so I could see one of his bright green eyes glowing dangerously. "What did you just say?"
I got up, crossing my arms, my knees sore from sitting one way for so many hours. "I said shut up, Dream."
"What happened to my Y/N? Huh? The nice Y/N," he asked, turning back to his books. "The Y/N I could be myself around. The Y/N that doesn't try to burn alive!"
I flinched, his last comment having stung. "If you could be yourself around me then why have you never taken off the mask? Riddle me that one, freak." Dream's hand went up to his mask, shifting it back into place and holding it there, as if afraid I would come take it. Obviously I had struck a nerve. I walked over to him, head held high, and punched him in the side of his jaw, grabbing his arm and taking his mask before he could react. I jumped away from him and back to the lava before he could grab me.
"Give it back, Y/N..." Dream said, covering his face with his hands.
"Remove your hands or your mask goes into the lava," I growled.
"Y/N..." his voice shook like a child's. He took a deep breath, then lowered his hands, revealing a man with a couple scars on his face here and there. His bright green eyes were wide with fear, and he was looking anywhere but me. I stood there, arms crossed. The man in front of me had the same messy brown-blonde hair Dream had, the same clothes he had, but that wasn't Dream. The fake Dream in front of me was way too nervous, and had a face.
I nearly threw the mask at him, then a sudden idea overcome me, a smile growing on my face. "Get me out of here," I said. "And I'll give your mask back."
"I can't do that... We will die..." He reached out for the mask, but I slapped his hand away.
"Find a way to get me out of here or I'll burn the stupid mask, then everyone will see what you look like!" I yelled, holding the mask closer to the fire. Dream gasped, eyes widening more, he shielded his face from me. "I'll fucking do it, Dream!"
Dream nodded, making a strange noise. He turned his back to me and started shoving his desk thing towards the lava, the wood making a horrible scraping noise across the obsidian. "What are you two doing in there?" Sam asked through the speakers.
"Renovating, you suck at decorations!" I yelled, motioning for Dream to hurry up, since I didn't hear the click that indicated the cameras turning on yet.
"Do not move anything, either of you!" Sam yelled.
"Fuck you!" I yelled back. Dream had pushed the desk near the lava, and was waiting. I heard a loud click, followed by noises of pistons and redstone. I squeaked. "Hurry up, he's coming!" I screamed. The desk caught fire and Dream started the slow process of dragging it back. I huffed angrily and went to help him, pulling the desk. He let go suddenly, making me tumble to the floor. The lava surrounding the cell had gone, and Sam was coming over to us.
"Get in the portal, Y/N. Give me my mask." Dream said, holding his shaking hand out to me. I got up, still holding the mask. I looked at the nether portal we had made, then at Sam, who jumped the remaining gap, sword out. I looked at Dream and made a split second decision. I threw the mask into the lava, darting into the portal. Everything turned purple and swirled. I could faintly hear Sam yelling and Dream screaming, but I was free, so I didn't care.
