I knock on the door of the Peltzer house, waiting for the door to open. I got a few days off school because I'm still healing and thought I'd visit Katie Peltzer. She's a 15yr old who lost her left leg in an attack when she was a baby. Her and I bonded over the fact we weren't like everybody else. She's incredibly shy and prefers to stay home reading a book than go out. Today I'm here to give her her very own electric wheelchair that Ma had designed for her. It's to be a big surprise, not even her parents know I've got it
The door opens and Mrs Peltzer smiles when she sees me "Oh Blue! It's so nice to see you again"
"You too Mrs Peltzer, is Katie home?"
"Yes" She sighs sadly
"What's wrong? Is she okay?"
"She found her mate"
"That's awesome! Who is it?"
"Sky Lovely"
"Nice!" I grin "She's awesome" Sky is a warrior and a total badass. She's up there with the best of the pack and has never backed down from anyone, even the Alpha
"But Katie feels she's going to be rejected so has been hiding out in her room"
"Why the hell would she think that?" I growl
"You know how Katie is" Mrs Peltzer says sadly "She thinks she won't be enough cause she's broken"
"She's not broken" I snap "She hasn't shifted cause she's afraid to, nothing more, and if she thinks having one leg makes her broken, I'll slap her silly"
"You're a good friend Blue" She smiles
"Can you tell her to come out here please, I got something for her"
"I'll try" Mrs Peltzer smiles and goes back into her house
A few minutes later a very tired and very sad looking Katie appears in the doorway "What?"
"Oh hello Blue, how are you? I'm great Katie, how are you?"
"Yeah. Yeah" She chuckles "Sorry Blue, not a good day for me"
"Well I hope this makes it better" I grin. Tracey comes from the side, pushing a new pimped out wheelchair

"It's yours" I grin "It goes as fast as Trevor and can travel along most terrains. You may not have the confidence to shift, and that's fine, so I thought I'd get you something for the moon runs"
