Eyes on me

(Blue POV)

I'm not sure when I fell asleep, all I know is I hadn't gotten that far in the movie. I woke up with Nana snuggled into the side of me reading a book and no parents "Hello sweetheart" Nana says

"Hi Nana, have I been asleep for long?"

"A few hours. How are you feeling?"

"Better. The pain is still there but it's more of a dull ache" I stretch a little and sigh "I hope my mates find me soon"

"They will bub, just be patient. The dragon might have a ways to fly and they'll only be able to fly at certain times so as to not get caught" Nana shrugs

"And the werewolf?" I ask with a frown

"It could be someone from a far away pack. No one in our pack has come forward yet and they should've by now"

"I'm kinda nervous about it" I shudder

Nana holds me closer "I know sweetheart, but this is a good thing, I promise" Nana gets up and lifts me out of the bed "Now let's get you cleaned and dressed, you've got a party to attend"

"I thought we were only going to have a family celebration?"

"You're turning 18 bub, of course the whole pack wants to celebrate with you and your sister"

I groan but let her carry me to the bathroom where Mum has just filled up the tub "Hey bub, let's get you ready to party" Mum smiles

After my embarrassing bath cause Nana felt the need to wash me herself, I'm dried and dressed, ready to party

"So ground rules girls" Ma says as I get carried into the living room. I look to my twin and she just rolls her eyes "You can drink cause you're of age....BUT....in moderation" She points to Scarlet "And no sneaking off to do the nasty" She points to Scarlet again

"Why are you only pointing at me?" Scarlet whines

"Cause we know you Reva giggles

"If you feel unsafe, call one of us" Ma adds

"I'll beat anyone who tries to hurt my baby sisters" Azul states while punching his fist into the palm of his hand

"I've been all around this territory and beyond, I know a good place to hide their bodies" Neil says And high fives Azul

"No!" Mum growls "No killing, maiming, threatening and just...." She points to Azul and Neil "No! We're going to have an amazing party for the twins. Food and drinks. Friends and family. No making a scene and embarrassing anybody"

"But if someone does fuck up....?" Azul trails off

Ma sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose "Fine. If someone stuffs up, deal with it" This time all my siblings and their mates high five making Scarlet and I laugh "Just don't make too much of a mess please, Luna Grace spent a lot of time organising it with your Mum and Nana"

"It's going to be a party to remember" Kiera squeals

"There won't be a party if we don't leave now" Nana says checking her watch

"Let's turn it up!" Jade whoops and we follow her out the door

When we get outside, there are 2 seats with long rods in a square underneath them "What is this?" I ask from Mum's arms

"My little princesses need a grand entrance" Ma smiles "To your carriages your highnesses" Ma bows along with everyone else

Mum puts me in one of the soft seats and buckles me in, while Scarlet is escorted to the other one by Ma "Uh....Be-before we-we g-go. I uh....wanted to d-do some-something" Pennywise stutters. She walks in front of Scarlet and gets down on one knee, everybody gasps but Mum and Ma "Scarlet, the moment I realised I had a mate, I thought I couldn't be happier. The moment I realised it was you,  I knew I could be. I've always had people avoid me cause I was intimidating and had a dark aura about me, but that didn't stop you from loving me. The Moon Goddess gave me what I've always wanted....another heartbeat. I was never liked but you loved me. I never had friendship but you showed me I could" She pulled out a red velvet box from her pocket and opened it, by now, most of us are in tears, especially Scarlet "I was given this ring by my grandfather. He said it belonged to his grandfather as it was his grandfather's. As an only child, he gave it to me and said 'When you find the one, your mate, never and I mean never let them go' So that's what I'm doing" She takes a deep breath before saying "Scarlet Maree Cohan, I know you're my mate but....Will you marry me?"
