My Life With Jaemin (Sequel)

Chapter 6

The last week of NCT Bachelor has come upon us. It is week four. This week will have the following members; Jeno, Chenle, Sungchan, and Shotaro. This week will be shorter than all the other weeks because we've gotten down to the final four members of NCT. These members are the most nervous, but they're ready to meet their match.

First up is Jeno. He is paired with Yeom Kyung-Hu. She was born on May 5, 2004 in Busan, South Korea. She is the youngest and only '04 liner out of all the contestants. Jeno is 4 years, 23 days exactly older than Kyung-Hu. Despite their age gap, they were able to talk to each other as if the age gap doesn't exist. Jeno finds her Busan satoori quite attractive. For a girl who was born in 2004, I was shocked at how deep her voice is. I mean, it's not like a manly man voice, but it's deeper than an average girl's voice. I think that's pretty cool, though.

Next is Sungchan, one of the newer members of NCT. He is paired with Charlotte Lee, who is a Korean-Australian. She was born on July 1, 2002 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. She shares a birthday with NCT leader Taeyong. Sungchan is only 9 months, 18 days older than Charlotte. Charlotte later told Sungchan to just call her Charlie from now on. Sungchan agreed to do so, and they continued their Q&A. Charlie is able to speak a little bit of Korean since she speaks it with her parents, but she is shy to speak it with strangers. She is more comfortable with English. Sungchan is fascinated with Charlie's Aussie accent. He really likes it. When their Q&A was over, they shared one last hug, then the room was given to the next couple.

The last and final couple is Shotaro and Thai contestant; Achara Saetang. Achara was born on November 20, 2000 in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand. She is only 5 days older than Shotaro. Being from very different cultures, Shotaro is very curious about Thai culture. He's heard a lot of good things from Ten, but he didn't ask too many questions. With Achara, he felt as if he needed to ask a lot of questions. Achara did her best to answer all of Shotaro's questions the best to her ability. Achara loves that Shotaro is so curious about her culture. She is equally is as curious about Japanese culture. By the time their Q&A was over, they ended their segment together with a bang. They shared the cutest kiss. Although, it was as romantic as some of the others, but it was still adorable.

Now that everyone has been paired up, I take all the girls into one room and Jaemin takes all the boys into another room. I start to talk about how they feel to be paired with their partner.
"So, girls~ how are you feeling?" I asked.
The first girl to raise her hand is Sabrina.
"Yes? Sabrina?" I asked.
"I was paired with Johnny and he's been just the best." Sabrina said.
"Lovely. Anyone else?" I asked.
Serena raises her hand and I nod to her, "Ah, why does Jungwoo have to be one of the cutest people in the universe? I mean, really."
"I know right. A single human being shouldn't be as cute as Jungwoo, but no, he just exists." I said, everyone laughs.

In the other room with the NCT members, Jaemin starts talking about how the members are feeling, personally. All the members agree that who they paired with is their idea of their ideal type. They are shocked that we were able to find such people from all around the world. Ten even commented that he spoke Thai with Achara and Chailai, forcing him to practice. It was a good moment that he shared with the Thai contestants. The members expressed their joy of meeting these girls and ate excited to start fresh, brand new relationships with these girls.

Now that Jaemin and I have spoken to all the contestants about how they are feeling, the detailed list of couples is released. The list of couples is as follows:

With the list out now, in about 6 months from now, Jaemin and I are supposed to check in on the couples and see how each of them are doing. If some of them have broken up in the span of 6 months, then that's how it goes. If some of them end up getting engaged, then those couples will be shown in the finalé of the show. The ultimate goal of the show is to get couples together after they found each other on the show, 6 months to a year after meeting. We wouldn't want to rush them, so we're also giving them up to a year to decide. A year feels like just enough to know if they want to marry or not. That's how Jaemin and I knew, so I'm sure these couples will know too. It is all up to how they feel at the end of the show as well. We wouldn't want to force love either. It's a natural feeling that just happens after falling head over heels for someone. I know Jaemin and I have done some good work thus far. I'm exited to see where it goes from here. Whether all the couples stay together or not, I'll be happy for them either way.
