I actually found out about an art journal a few days ago and decided to convert Sketchbook 11 into both a sketchbook and an art journal.

Basically you don't have any rule and you can freestyle it anyway you want. Whether that's with scrap paper, washi tape, stamps, etc. A mix media kind of thing.

I thought this would be a good idea for me to express myself in a different way and try to motivate me into doing more art like piece that can take hours to complete.

The thing is with sketchbook 11 is that so many pages have been ripped out of it. And I stapled index card to the back of the cover. So I totally wanted to get rid of that and turn it into something else.

So here's the back of the cover

So here's the back of the cover. It's like an introduction page. Like my named and why I wanted to start the art journal in the first place.

You can read it if you want but there's nothing really interesting there.

But then I wanted to do an abstract self portrait. I didn't achieve an abstract style in my opinion but I made it me and I am really amazed by it.

This is the closest self portrait I have ever done before! The lips are messed up but we don't worry about that

This is the closest self portrait I have ever done before! The lips are messed up but we don't worry about that. It's crazy, weird, and out of my comfort zone. But I love it (for rn)
