I had done the background with a highlighter so when I first finished it it looked really good. As time continues, it started to turn splotchy. But the eyes were really fun.

This actually started as a pen sketch. You can still see some of the lines. Then I took alcohol markers to it and colored it. That pink color as the background not only looks smooth but m as Kes the dragon itself pop out.
