I decided to try to watercolor an eye. It took forever for me to get any of the right colors. Then to make the skin and other features to pop out, I added some chalk pastel to it.
I like it except for the pupil in the corner. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the right color!
I'll get better with mixing colors if I keep going though. The first time I tried to do a watercolor eye, I rushed through it so it looks really bad. Of course that was over a year ago when I never thought I would ever try watercolors again.
