A/N: I'm back! Did you miss me?!?
***Slight Trigger Warning for this chapter, you have been warned.***
***Freed's p.o.v***
"There's no denying it now, Valenzula's coming and we need to be prepared for it," Laxus concluded.
"Which means we need to know exactly what we're dealing with," Bickslow replied.
"I agree with what you're saying, but you realize exactly what you're asking right?" I asked them.
They nodded sadly in response.
"If we're going to stand any chance against Valenzula we need to know more information about him and what exactly he's after. We hardly know anything about Valenzula right now," Master Makarov agrees.
"Do you even realize how much of a touchy subject this is Master?" I asked him.
"We all realize how touchy this subject is Freed," Ever answers sadly.
"But we still need to know," Erza finishes.
Currently, the guild is meeting to talk about Valenzula while Rachel is around town running her morning errands.
"Still, I agree with Freed. We can't just bring her up here and expect her to openly talk about this," Laxus responds.
"Then we'll make this private. We'll talk in my office," Master suggested.
"Freed's going in with her," Laxus added.
We all nodded in agreement.
"We should do more than that. Just in case things turn for the worse. Laxus and Wendy should be on standby just in case. Every dragon slayer should also have someone with them as well to hold them back if necessary, to make sure they don't do anything rash. Erza should be with Natsu and Mira with Gajeel. Ever and Bickslow can be with Laxus and Wendy. Try to act casually as to not draw her suspicions," I told them.
"Is that all really necessary?" Lucy asked.
A dark look passed over my face. "You have no idea the horrors she's been through. Believe me when I say, what you're going to hear isn't going to be pretty," I spoke darkly.
Over the past few weeks, I have gotten Rachel to talk about her nightmares of her past tortures, and because of this, she has been able to let go and move on, but that doesn't take away how brutal they were to her.
A sad look passed over the guild's faces at that statement.
"Alright, Freed will accompany Rachel as we talk in my office. Laxus and Wendy will be on standby if anything goes wrong, and Erza and Mira will be in charge of maintaining calm within the guild. Everybody understand?" Master asks.
The guild nods.
"Freed-" Master starts.
"I'll find her," I answered as I left.
***Timeskip***
After asking around town, I learned Rachel had headed to her garden. Rachel goes to her garden quite often, if she isn't at home, at the guild, or doing her walk around town she's usually there.
Walking through the East forest, I parted the trees in front of me before arriving at the garden to see Rachel there enjoying the breeze as she sat there humming quietly to herself amongst the flowers.
