BoAh: Chung Jung Sun has produced songs for almost all my HooBae label-mates, and has some hit songs with other groups, so it feels quite different seeing him here on stage as a trainee
———— Jung Sun confessional:
JungSun: I was a trainee for 2 years and I trained with infinite Hyungs before becoming a producer, I had this songbook which my trainer saw and they asked me what it was and I said a songbook, they took the book and looked through my songs with me and asked if I ever planned on songwriting and I said yes that I enjoyed writing and composing like I enjoyed dancing and singing. I ended up getting recommended by my trainer to my boss to become a producer.
At the time I thought that was the only thing I wanted but deep down I also wanted to preform my own music on stage whether that was alone or in a group my dream was just music, my company let me debut as a solo artist in 2015 and make my own music but I got no promotions.
I remember thinking 'is this worth it?' I was second guessing a lot of things and subconsciously giving up on my dream without really starting. I came on produce to show not just myself but everyone, my family, my company, I want to show them that I am more than just a producer.
