It was dark outside. Bellamy only knew because the P.A. system had informed everyone curfew was approaching. The day had passed, and Bellamy still didn't know if the bomb hit Tondc while his people were there. He kept Raven's mobile radio in his ear, waiting for news while she worked with Wick on the Acid Fog problem. Bellamy wasn't even sure if she was in the room, but he kept the ear piece in.

After radiating level five, Bellamy and Maya prepared for retaliation. The 47 fought to keep the suited guards from taking another member, but Bellamy watched as the guards flooded in, leaving with Fox to the bone marrow chamber.

Bellamy couldn't watch one of his people be taken into that room, he'd been helpless too long. And Fox was strong, had been one of his hunters at the Dropship. She managed to break free of her captors and make a run for it. Bellamy was there to cover her retreat.

When Fox threw her arms around Bellamy, quaking in his arms, Bellamy made his decision. He was not being kept from his people any longer.

The night turned crazy after that. Maya's dad, Vincent, came into the picture in time to hide Fox. Maya became captive of Cage to try to convince the 47 to surrender. Bellamy gave up going to the armory to go back and save her. Then, Maya's dad had become a part of the fight, telling Bellamy he would help hide his people, along with other Mountain Men that disagreed with Cage's actions. The mutinous turn of events finally gave Bellamy the opportunity to be reunited with his people.

"Bellamy!" They'd rushed forward to embrace him or shout questions. There was no time for either. He was back with them, but they still weren't safe.

"Hey!" called Bellamy. "We're getting out of here, now. Grab anything that can be used as a weapon and follow me." They were nervous being in a big group out in the open. Maya had disabled the cameras and Bellamy was trusting that her father would come through.

And he did. A group was waiting with Maya and her father to bring his people to hide out spots.

"We shouldn't split up," Miller hesitated. Bellamy understood the feeling. He'd only just gotten them back, and now he was watching them leave with strangers.

"It's the best plan right now. I have to keep you all safe until Clarke and her army gets here." Miller pursed his lips but went when beckoned.

Bellamy took a deep breath, taking in the scared, determined faces. As they moved past Bellamy to be split into groups by Vincent, they glanced at him, getting an encouraging nod in response.

"Hey, we're coming with you," said Jasper, him and Monty stepping up to his side as he moved to the end of the hall.

Bellamy shook his head. "No, you're not. They still don't know I'm here and I need to keep it that way." Monty looked at Jasper then back to Bellamy. There was a seriousness etched into their young faces he'd never seen before. "Stay alive, be ready to fight."

Bellamy remembered the last time he'd talked to these two together. It had been before the Grounder Battle, when Clarke and Finn had gone missing. Despite their missing friends at the time, both boys had still been smiling and joking with each other. The two teenagers seemed far away from the goofballs at the Dropship, but Bellamy couldn't think about what they'd all gone through yet.

"War is coming."

"Plans don't last very long in battle. Tiring yourself with questions already asked and answered is a waste of energy."
