𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟗 - 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲

A/N- OKAY, SO A FEW DAYS AGO BEFORE THIS RELEASED, I JUST REALIZED THE DRASTIC CHANGE IN SHIZUKA'S PERSONALITY AFTER CHAPTER 1 ENDED. WELL, I WAS SO INTO THE THOUGHT OF FORGING A COMPLICATED PLOT AND FORGOT THE FACT THAT SHIZUKA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ALL SO RUDE TO THOSE SHE MEETS FOR THE FIRST TIME. SO I JUST KIND OF THREW THAT AND IMAGINED HER TO BE THE SILENT BUT SECRETIVE TYPE WITH A LITTLE MORE EMOTIONS HERE AND THERE, SO YEAH. ANYWAY, GO HAVE A NEW CHAPTER(A BIT SHORT CUS I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO ADD SHIZUKA INTO THE STORY).

Taking out her wallet, the Greenette opens it and gives out money to the cashier she and Tohru stood in front of. A few seconds and the cashier had given both the receipt and change to the 2nd year girl. Smiling to the cashier as she puts her wallet back in her coat pocket, Tohru picks up the groceries and heads outside. Heading towards the exit, Shizuka sees the Cat and the Rat fighting as usual as the Brunette greeted

"Thank you for wai-"

She then got interrupted by the Orange-Haired

"Bring it on Girly-Boy! Step outside and let's do this!"

"We're already outside, you stupid cat."

Stepping in between the two younger cousins, Shizuka menacingly says though her expression still had the same look she had a while ago

"Let's just go. I'm not paying for anything you two end up damaging."

Nervous, the two boys nod in compliance and Yuki says

"A-Ah..Thanks for buying the groceries you two."

Looking at the angry silent male on her left, the Greenette sighs and pats Kyo's shoulder and whispers in his ear

"I suggest you do try to be helpful in any way before you waste a chance. Like right now."

Letting go of his shoulder, the Greenette walks towards Tohru as Yuki walks away, with groceries in his hands. He then says

"You came long, stupid cat, so make yourself useful."

Looking at each other, Shizuka mouths three words

"I told you."

Still mad, he then shouts to the Gray-Haired

"Stop calling me stupid!"

He then starts walking as he continues

"Give me those, I'll carry both of them!"

The Rat responds

"You'd break the eggs if you carried them."

Looking at the scene that beheld before her, the Greenette wonders to herself

"Geez..I did say that to Kyo but I'm not even doing it. Especially when I heard those sentences from the both of them.."

As her gaze shifts to her left side, a voice brought her back to reality

"Uhm..Sohma-Senpai? Is something the matter?"

Looking quickly to the girl beside her, the Greenette immediately shakes her head no

"Nothing big at all. I'm just thinking about the future that lies in front of us..Anyway, aren't we heading home now?"

Still a tinge of worry on her face, Tohru nods her head

"Yes.."

Guilty for worrying someone that wasn't supposed to be in her personal worries, she grabs her hand and says, seeing the two males advancing ahead
