That day, The Green-Haired girl had gotten a call from the house that Tohru was sick. She panicked, pacing around the house

"I should have gone home...what do I do now!?"

As Shizuka's heart pumped faster and faster, Aide could only look more worried for her own friend than some younger girl who moved in a few months ago due to family problems..

"I look so irresponsible! I'm older than them, yet I can't fulfill one job!"

Despite having no younger siblings, the girl panicked in fear, hoping this didn't affect her image to the three younger figures. The Pink-Haired girl held her friend's hand to stop her from walking around the living room. In response, Shizuka shook her hand off, continuing to walk around the room.

Why was she so attached to some people that weren't closely related to her? Was it because they were living together? Was it because the oldest person in the house didn't have a sense of proper maturity? Whatever it was, Aide didn't care, she cared for her friend more than anything right now, yet..her friend couldn't do the same.

Perhaps she could call Kagura? Definitely not, she didn't want to delve into the two's personal matters with each other, considering they are part of the same clan and she's not.

Finally, a ringtone came from Shizuka's phone, making her accept the call immediately

"Hello?"

"Yes, this is me."

"...yes."

"..really!?"

A sigh could be heard from the girl

"That's a relief, I don't know what I could have done if something else happened."

"O-Oh.."

Suddenly, she closes the call and puts the phone on the table, another sigh escaping from her mouth

"What's gotten into me?"

Shizuka continues

"I know you're wondering the same thing too, Aide. Well, maybe it's just..I don't know, realization?"

The couch's wooden leg makes a high pitched noise

"Realization? Please, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard from you. Wouldn't it naturally be something deeper!?"

A wave of silence hits the two, Shizuka not knowing how to respond, stands there as a drop of sweat falls from her face. A minute falls by and the Pink-Haired girl sits back down on the couch

"I- I'm sorry.."

Another thunder occurs, the Green-Haired girl opens her mouth

"No. I'm the one who has to apologize, I'm really foolish. Running away from responsibilities just because I'm selfish."

".."

Putting her phone in the bag's pocket, Shizuka grabs it and walks over to the door

"I'll leave now. See you tomorrow."
