A wound and a word

Saw a girl walking to the woods, on a windy day of winter.

She is alone and afraid but behind there is nothing but cinder.

And now, she got what she wanted, she put home in her sight.

But in the sky, smiled the first star and down went the light.

The winds are heavily blowing and her heart is filled with fright.

And two bandits came, one from the left and the other from the right.

They said: By now, you are dead and not going back home tonight.

So she screamed thrice: Lion of my land, you are my knight.

And so, he came and saved her, after killing the two men with might.

He took her to the tribe, and there they celebrated with delight.
