3 years later

Stars blanketed the sky like tiny tiki torches, casting pinpricks of light on the dark field that butted up to the edge of an obsessively manicured backyard. The teens scratched at the label on the bottle they held and tipped on their chin up, closing their eyes as the warm, end-of-summer breeze washed over their face. The dry, rough grass scratched at their legs, but who cares.

In less than four hours, another game would be starting. Another mystery would surround the atmosphere of Seoul. SNHS would again turn from a school to a haunted mansion. Some teenagers would also find them knitted together because of some haunting reasons. Instead of staring at the stars, they would be hiding in blankets, hoping all of it was a nightmare that could just end.

And once again, someone anonymous would find a target.

Jungle camps, they are supposed to be fun. Well, this one is too, but only for a short period of time.

"Students, it's already 11:30 pm, you have to go to the cabins now," Mrs. Lin shouted, loud and clear for the teenagers that sat in groups around the bonfire.
"We are not 3rd graders, Miss Lin. We want to sleep late!"  Choi Beomgyu shouted back, receiving total support from the others.

"No means no, mister Choi Beomgyu, everyone, in the cabins now!" Mrs. Maloi accompanied Mrs. Lin, and the students immediately said okay because if they didn't, Mrs. Maloi would make sure to give them twice the homework she already did, which means four pages of essays.

Groaning and disappointed, the teens started to get ready for the night—5 students in 1 cabin each. Choi Yeonjun, Kang Taehyun, Shin Ryujin, Shin Yuna, and Choi Lia were the first team to pack up and enter their designated cabin, while the popular groups that consisted members like Choi Beomgyu, Choi Soobin, Hwang Yeji, Lee Chaeryeong, and Huening Kamal Kai.

And before you ask, how does this school trust male and female teens students to be sleeping together in the same cabin? The cabins were made for co-ed teams to sleep together, so the cabins have a wall dividing the girls' side and the boys' side.

"Ugh. I don't wanna go to sleep." Ryujin groaned childishly while dropping herself on her bed. While Ryujin was getting annoyed at how she couldn't stay awake past 11:30, Yuna was preparing herself by putting her cute pajamas on. On the other hand, Lia was already in bed, but instead of going to sleep, she was reading a book called Five Feet Apart.

"Are you guys sleepy?" Ryujin asked, hoping she won't be the only one to stay awake till late in the middle of the jungle. She heard faint sounds from the boy's side. They must be having fun, Ryujin thought. She turned her head as far as she could. Some girls were chatting, fangirling over magazines, and much more. "How boring my friends are," she muttered.

"Not really Ryu, I still feel a bit hyped and energetic," Lia answered after a minute as she recalled the question.

While Lia had answered the question, Yuna was still in her own little world, like she always was, Ryujin didn't bother asking the question again. Yuna was the type of girl ever to get easily distracted by anything. You usually had to poke her once or twice for you to get her attention.

Boring. That's only what Ryujin could think of. Ryujin's only option was to observe the Cabin's little details until she felt sleepy, and she knew that moment wasn't coming any time soon.

Suddenly, they heard a knock.

Since Lia was the closest to the door, she slowly stood out of her bed. When she slightly pulled up the little curtain that blocked sunlight to come from the door's window, she saw two boys that she knew very well. Yeonjun and Taehyun.

She opened the door for them. They entered the cabin as slowly as they could. Both were smiling at Lia and the others. They seemed very excited about something.

"What are you two doing here? Do you two have a death wish, or are two just extremely dumb?" Yuna quietly questioned them. Yuna always had explicit facial expressions on her face, and this time, you could tell that she was confused.

"We got bored, so we decided that we are going out for a night walk. Oh, and we wanted to ask you three to come with us." Yeonjun whispered back to her in a sarcastic but friendly tone.

Lia observed Ryujin and Yuna's facial and body expressions before answering Yeonjun's question. Neither of them looked sleepy nor scared to infringe the rules, so she positively nodded her head.

On the other side, "Chaer, night never felt this long. We need to pass some time, or else I would literally cry," Yeji whispered into Chaeryeong's ear, who nodded at every single word.

"I wish we could just share cabins with our friends. At least Kai and Beom would entertain us with Soobin cracking lame jokes," Chaeryeong added, as Yeji grumbled. Phones weren't even allowed in this camp, and if they were, the poor internet would surely not let anything happen.

Yeji sighed, "All these girls are either sleeping, talking about makeup, or fangirling over boys who don't even know they exist. It's irritating me," Yeji whispered, looking at the girls. On the boys' side, she was pretty sure they would be talking about how many girls they got on the bed to date, how they love to drink illegally, and much more.

Suddenly they heard the faint sound of knocks, and then some whispers. "what is happening?" Yeji asked Chaeryeong. They both shifted to see two boys and three girls leaving the cabin quietly.

"Two boys, and three girls, they are gonna have a fivesome in the jungle?" Yeji asked, not aware of how funny it actually sounded. Chaeryeong choked on her breath, "The fuck you are saying, Yeji? I am sure they ain't fucking on dead leaves and stones. They must be going for a walk," Chaeryeong answered, throwing a pillow on Yeji.

Yeji slumped on the bed, "I hope the boys come here and take us away too,"

"You don't know how dumb that sounded," Chaeryeong said, still sitting in the same position and looking at the rooftop. "Who says the boys have to come first, though?" Chaeryeong then added, looking at Yeji, who shot her a big smile.

"What are we waiting for then?" Yeji said, climbing off the bed, as quiet as possible.
