Quickly, I pulled the blue haired boy to the side.
"Woah, nice to see you too," he chuckled at me.

"What are you playing at?" I hissed at him. "Your not suppose to be here."

Lyon smirked at me. "Come now, I missed your beautiful face," he muttered, pulling my body close.

His cold hands touched my warm face. My heart began to flutter.

"No," I muttered. I pulled away. "I'm in love with someone else."

"Who? The drummer?" Lyon jeered following me into the crowd. "He was just a one time thing."

"Will you quit following me?" I asked, turning to him. "I have a boyfriend."

"I don't see him anywhere."

My face lit up. "He just arrived," I smiled.

Natsu walked in through the doors in a black suit. I rushed to greet him.

"Your late," I remarked, pulling his arm.

"Traffic," he answered simply. I was about to offer him a drink when Lyon's head popped in.

I scowled. Lyon smiled at Natsu.

"I don't believe we've met," he said coldly. "Lyon Vastia."

Lyon held out his hand to which Natsu accepted. "Natsu Dragneel."

I turned to Lyon. "Lyon, a word."

"Phew we made it just in time," Levy cried, fanning herself.

"I hope all the cake isnt gone!" Erza sniffed, heading towards the buffet table.

Steadily, I walked aimlessly, searching for somewhere to sit down and rest my sore legs when I bumped into someone.

"Im sorry," I apologised. God I was such a clutz.

The stranger turned around and my heart skipped a beat. Natsu stared down at me with his brown eyes.

I turned to walk away.

But Natsu grabbed my arm. "Heartfilia wait!" He called. "We need to talk."

I relaxed turning towards him. "Talk? Talk!" I cried. "All I've done is try to talk but instesd you call me a slut. Nice way with words."

"About that-

"You idiot!" I muttered. I grabbed his can of coke from his hands and poured it over his head.

Liquid dripped from his hair and drizzled down his shoulders. The room fell quiet. I walked away.

That idiot. I cant pretend that everything is alright... not with these feelings.

"Natsu!" A familiar voice cried. I recognised it: Lisanna Strauss. "Did that freak attack you again."

I scoffed. The only freak of nature was her.

I watched Lucy go as the sticky drink soaked into my clothes.

"That freak!" Lisanna said loudly. "Who even invited her?"

She turned my head so I was forced to look at her before kissing my nose gently. "I have some spare clothes in the laundry," she muttered into my ear.

I thanked her before making my way up the stairs. Only to cross paths with that Lyon.

"Seems like someone is in a sticky situation," he commented, eyeing me up and down. "The fun hasn't even started yet."

"It's nothing," I muttered, pushing past him.
There was something about his eyes that creeped me out, like he could see right into my soul.

I made my way up the stairs. "Laxus? What are you doing up here?"

Lactose grunted at me. I peeked into the room he came out of and raised an eyebrow.

"You and mirajane?" I almost choked.

"Shut up," he muttered, walking past me. I laughed.

Guess you don't really know people.

I sat on one of the plush sofas. My feet were sore by the walking but I didn't want to let it show. Instead, I smiled and sipped from the cup of water.

"You don't drink?" A voice asked from behind me.
Startled, I jumped to see Gajeel standing behind me. I felt my face flushing as he sat next to me. "What?" I asked.

"I said," he started, before whispering into my ear. "You don't drink?"

My heart skipped a beat. "I don't see any alcohol," I defended. I didn't want to seem like a good girl, the girl who didn't drink alcohol.

"Good point," Gajeel smirked. Before turning to me. "For now."

I felt his cool lips on my warm lips. I couldn't help but kiss him back.

I descended the staircase, brushing down my new white suit only to be ambushed by Lisanna.

"Just the guy I was looking for," she giggled, pulling me into the crowd.

Cana looked at me worriedly. "The band that was supposed to come had to cancel," she panicked. "They got into a road accident-

"Natsu you need to perform for us!" Lisanna pleaded.

I pulled away. "Woah woah! I haven't even written any-
"Don't lie now," Zeref grinned with a smug. He placed an arm on my shoulder. "You were locked up in your room writing a song, you wouldn't leave."

I felt my face flushing. "That isn't for the world to see!" I flushed.

"Please Natsu!" Lisanna begged.

I looked down into Lisanna's eyes, I couldn't say no. "Fine,"I grumbled. "But I haven't even got my guitar-

Zeref thrust a guitar to my chest. I turned to him. "You brought my guitar?" I spluttered.

"Did you plan for this or-

"Don't be silly!" Zeref interrupted, pushing me onto the stage.

The lights shone on me, I blinked and laid my eyes on a fair face with beautiful brown eyes.

Lucy

I took a deep breath, and without hesitation, I sang:

Fairy, where're you going?
We'll gather the light along the way
And make it shine upon a brand new day

~Lucy P.o.v

I felt a beam of light shine onto me. I looked up to see Natsu looking down at me, I couldn't help but flush.

And he began to sing. His voice was soft, like a lullaby. He strummed the chords on his guitar slowly in beat, all while looking me in the eyes.

Was this song... for me?

Though all this time has past I still remember
The sun and moon and how they shine together
It feels so strange when you are not here with me
I need your smile just to keep me going

"Lucy, have you seen Levy anywhere?" Ezra asked me, with her mouthful of cake.

I shook my head, not taking me eyes of Natsu. Erza noticed and nudged me.

"Crushing on the guitarist?" She prodded. "Don't worry I won't tell."

"Ew!" I cried, then smiled. "This song... it just makes me want to... smile."

In my heart; it's snowing
I'm trying my best to smile
Slowly, it's warming
As fate is linking your heart with mine

Fairy, where're you going
We'll gather the light along the way
And make it shine upon a brand new day
